Hope this turns out good. Netflix Marvel has really dropped the ball since Iron Fist.

Cool. But since when can Cage run super fast, and jump super far?

I'm talking about the show.

Jumping makes sense. If you have strong legs you should be able to jump.
The Nike speed is the only head scratcher. To be fair, I don't know what to compare that to so I don't know how fast or slow that is. But clearly in this context it's meant to be impressive.
Perfect excuse to re-watch Season 1.
Wonder which villain is gonna be in this. I loved Cottonmouth, Mariah, Shades, and controversially even Diamondback. Pretty damn strong cast all around.

He's pretty much the same as Steve Rogers. A super soldier with unbreakable skin.
I think they realized that they dropped the ball as regards to feats in season 1 so they are rectifying it in season 2.

It's a logical extrapolation of super strength. What else makes a runner run fast than superior muscles in his legs? At least the jumping is pretty standard for characters like that.
June? Damn, I need to start getting caught up on these shows. Last one I watched was Defenders.
Sincere question, has Luke actually ran before at any point in Jessica Jones, Defenders or Luke Cage?
read the comments before the clicking the clip. then i did.
I was thinking he would be doing some Flash ish. If he is a lil faster than the average top athlete I won't complain too much, tho I still think of cage as a tank, so i wouldnt want him moving too fast.

This looks really dope, tbh.

Yeah, it only makes sense. They don't need to be Quicksilver or Flash fast, but I think if you can lift 10 tons, then you can out run a Pinto:)

Agreed with this. I do hope the showrunner can step it up. Black Lightning season one was lit af.
I honestly can't remember the last time Luke showed any kind of exceptional physical feat in the comics that wasn't purely invulnerability or physical strength based (I guess running is a physical strength though).
