Patty, Gal and Chris have done it again!
I hope that the film is allowed to be looked at as a popular film regardless of what the "official" box office run ends up being. I see this as a film that can potentially be in theaters throughout the year, depending on how the management of the virus evolves over the next several months. same goes with the other Warner tentpole films. I just hope that there don't end up being doomsday articles talking about, "Well, after a month of limited release, WW84 has only grossed ______ vs its production budget of _______ and its marketing budget of _______.. is the franchise stillborn as retail theaters re-evaluate their relationship with the major studios?.."
Seriously, these articles are at risk of happening.

Warner Bros. may not release box office information at all.

A tease for Circe perhaps?
A tease for Circe perhaps?
It's a possibility. I guess the post credit scene will set up the 3rd WW movie and/or show Diana in present day.
Could be anything, really. It might point towards a new storyline (like the only-on-DVD pub scene with the motherbox picture from the 2017 movie), but it could be something else entirely.
But I doubt it will include a new character, at least not within the Wonderverse. WB doesn't have enough concrete plans for that.
I think we would've heard rumors about them casting Circe if she was in it, unless it's just a vague reference that doesn't actually feature her.
I think we would've heard rumors about them casting Circe if she was in it, unless it's just a vague reference that doesn't actually feature her.
It could be like Xmen Days of Future Past with the Apocolypse end credit. They just hire someone in Circe iconography to allude to the character, but then hire a new actress for the movie. Granted, I'm not certain what would be Circe's visual iconography for a large number of people like Apocolypse.
A tease for Circe perhaps?
This would make me so happy.
I'm hoping it has something to do with Circe or the Amazon spin off, or something related to Cheetah if she makes it through this and will appear in the sequel.
Hopefully nothing related to any other non-WW centric projects over any of those.
Count me in for Circe also.
Though watch setup Jason and Grail instead. :p

I can't imagine Patty Jenkins ever using Jason. Grail is a maybe, but I could see them removing her New Gods connection for simplicity's sake.

My boyfriend joked about the third film being "Wonder Woman III: The Rise of Jason" and I almost dumped him right then and there.

What if the plot was a divinely powered up Jason Voorhes?
Didn't specify which Jason!:p

An island of mutated animal men worshipping an image of her?

I can’t see them removing her Darkseid connections but since all Fourth World seems to be Synder’s domain (sorry New Gods fans), and no one really knows what that film’s continuity along with that Ava DuVernay film I think Grail is also not that likely.

Would have been no “almost” for me. :p

Something with the Hecate Witchmark maybe.

Now this would have made for a much better Robinson run.

Apparently Patty Jenkins is directing a Star Wars movie. That explains her comments about WW3 not happening for a while.
With Jenkins's comment on the Whedon cut, maybe we can FINALLY put the conversations about how her version will reconcile with it to bed.
Though if she's still playing ball with the Snyder cut, I'm hoping he at least doesn't have Steppenwolf kill off Philippus, Euboea or other Amazons like the theatrical release and she will still be able to use them if desired in WW3.
I'd bet the post-credits scene will be something involving Cheetah. At the least, letting us know she's still out there and plotting against Diana. It'd be cool if they have her discover something that hints at Circe, and in the third movie it'll turn out she was the one who unleashes her.
Whatever it is, I just hope it's something that relates to Wonder Woman and her movies and not some reference to the rest of the DCEU or a future crossover.

I would totally watch that movie.
Oye, I don't wish Star Wars on Patty Jenkins at all. Especially if she ends up going with a female-focused SW film. Poor lady doesn't know what she's in for.

A Circe and Cheetah team up for a third film would definitely make putting up with Max in this one. :p

I think so too, but my guess is they're setting up the Legion of Doom

If we complete this trilogy with Cheetah, Ares, Dr. Poison and Circe, I'm calling it a net win even factoring in Max

Find a way to throw in Giganta and we’re golden. :p
Find a way to throw in Giganta and we’re golden. :p
And Dr Psycho. Actually I suspect he'll be the secondary villain in WW3 (unless Cheetah returns). He was an occultist in Marston's stories so there's a way to tie him with Circe.

Oh geez I didn't even notice the pun lol.
Cheetah theme is the one I want the most, and I imagine "Radio Waves" will play when she and Diana are fighting. Maybe it will blend their two themes together?
Open Road was released, and is pretty awesome

Yeah, I imagine that'll probably play during that truck convoy scene from the trailers.

A Circe-themed iconography could be a triple crescent moon to reference her connection to Hecate, who is known for being a triple moon goddess, as well as a three-faced deity.

As was "Themyscira".
Some thoughts on the "Themyscira" and "Open Road". Note that this is only as music; how it will work in the context of the movie is wholly another thing. And I will obviously compare with the 2017 Wonder Woman score, which in a way is unfair, because that score does have the context of the movie to support it.
First, it's clear that it ties back to the music in the 2017 Wonder Woman. Lots of drums and some cello, plenty of callbacks to the melodies and themes of the old score.
But there is some stuff I don't like. There is a lot more brass here compared to the strings of the 2017 score, making it more conventionally heroic. The tempos felt rather stressful, and "Themyscira" never really established Themyscira as a nice place with hidden depths for me like "Amazons of Themyscira" or "History Lesson" did.

I think "Open Road" sounding more conventionally heroic fits since it's likely tied to whatever action scene is going on the desert with the trucks. Wonder Woman is a superhero after all, so a more straight forward heroic action score isn't going to be out of place in a movie and is I feel what most people want from this.
I don't think "Themyscira" really indicates that it isn't a nice place, the track may just not cover the same ground those other two tracks already covered. It also may tie into the Olympic style games they're doing in the trailers.

I’ve thought that too for “Themyscria”. Sounds like the kind of song you’d hear at some Olympics ceremony.
Twelve more days! :)

Exactly, Star Wars and the Cleopatra will be Patty's next projects and she wants to focus on those first before going back to WW. The 3rd movie look will be a longer wait than the 2nd one.
That sequence was Snyder's.
Yeah, but didn't Whedon re-shoot it since the theatrical cut had the different version of Steppenwolf?
Either way, it would be nice if we could pretend it didn't happen. Screw that noise.

I wouldn't be surprised if that planned Amazons spin-off happens before a Wonder Woman 3, especially since Jenkins said she wouldn't be directing it.
