Thanks a lot for that!
I will search first so I don't create a redundant thread.
I wonder if when Barbara transforms she'll have blonde hair still? I don't think she will look good with blonde hair as cheetah. I like when she has a red or brown hair like the comics I've never seen her with blonde besides Priscilla. Oh & where is her British accent I didn't hear that from Kristen in the trailer

I don't think she's going to be British. If Wiig can't do a convincing accent it may be for the best.
So she'll be American like Priscilla and Deborah.
I hope that is the case, but it still doesn't make sense to me with respect to the other movies.
We shall see.
Wonder Woman 1984 need only be beholden to the WW franchise. In the first film Ares said "Only a god can kill another god." Now look what the gods can do in the DCEU: manipulate matter, create localized storms, wield lightning, fly, TP/TK, invisibility, teleportation, great strength, speed, durability, and immortality. All of these abilities Ares had, and he told Diana there was so much about her power she didn't know.
The DCEU is a multi-author project, you're gonna have inconsistencies. These things exist in any other project of this sort, from the DC comic book continuity to Star Wars and the MCU.
The only question now is the first movie has Diana says to Batman you brought him back to me. Could this mean they retcon out the photo? I mean in 1984 trailer she had a photo of Steve.

Well, the first movie made Etta Candy British, so why not make Barbara Ann American?

I think you're over-reading things here, and after all that we have no clue on the history of the photo from Veld after it was taken.
There are many variables that make these kinds of polls valid/invalid as the months go by, and circumstances could always change the results, but back in 2017, another Fandango poll accurately predicted Wonder Woman becoming the biggest hit of the summer. This coming year, the Fandango poll results suggests that the four most anticipated films of 2020 are all female-led AND female directed (Wonder Woman 2, Black Widow, The Eternals, and Mulan; and with Birds of Prey also on the list, FIVE films directed by and starring women could end up the 5 biggest box office hits of the year. I am 100 % sure that this has no precedent in the history of Hollywood films).

This is clearly not the bespectacled shy gal seen in the first trailer. Can't tell if it's the intermediate step or the final form.
After seeing the trailer and previews for CATS, I'd be perfectly fine with a non- bestial Cheetah for WW84.
EDIT: Sorry, can't get the image to show up here. Just Google it.
This pic?

That dress is gorgeous. At least we know WW84 will have impeccable fashion on display.
No offense to anyone, but I honestly feel people are taking the CATS atrocity entirely too far. Patty Jenkins herself said that they used makeup and prosthetics on Kristin Wiig, and we can see that Oscar winning makeup artists were hired specifically for Wiig's transformation. Jenkins also said CGI was only used to enhance and dow what was not humanly possible for the Cheetah transformation.
I'm not saying Cheetah is going to look good. I have no idea since I have not seen it. But what I am saying is that CATS wanted to keep the faces somewhat human because they wanted people to emotionally connect with the characters. They failed, but that was the intent. Cheetah is supposed to be a bestial villain who lost her humanity, so there's no reason whatsoever that Wiig's face should still look human after her transformation.
I'm sure this is not her final design, and I look forward to seeing it.
Some might find this encouraging:
I read somewhere (don't know how accurate) that one of the reasons the "cats" in CATS looks terrible is because its director refused to use motion capture. Essentially, he just had the actors perform and counted on the VFX team to turn them into cat-people...which is really not how you're supposed to do it.
Again, I can't say how accurate this is or if there's important context missing, but I would like to think Patty Jenkins at least knows how you're supposed to properly CG an actor's performance.
Cheetah looking creepy and disturbing post-transformation is part of the whole point for her. Whereas CATS seems to have resulted in that entirely by accident lol.
How good she looks remains to be seen, but the make up and prosthetic being involved is encouraging.

Cheetah being able to transform is something I think is a good idea. It really drives in the idea she CHOOSES to be a monster rather than being stuck with being a monster.

Hahaha ha ha, indeed they did.
And I agree with what you wrote about Cheetah post-transformation. She is supposed to look unnerving.

There's something about Gal's Wonder Woman that is so infectiously joyous. Just looking at her makes me smile. I'm so excited for this film.
There's that Gal Gadot charm on full display!
Given that movie Wonder Woman seems to borrow one Spiderman element for each movie—first climbing the tower wall in 2017, and now swinging from lightning in 2020—I wonder what other of Spiderman's signature moves she will or can borrow for future movies?
The 2004 train scene is certainly memorable, but at the same time a bit low-powered for Wonder Woman at her current level, and I'm not sure it's easily scaled up.

I know not all Snyder fans...probably not even most Snyder fans...but seriously, these people are the worst:

And clearly know nothing about the character. Or comic books. Or movies.

"Intellectuals' lol
They are the worst.
Didn't Matt Reeves make a casting announcement tweet and they bombarded his Twitter, even though he has nothing to do with any of this crap?
Ugh.
I remember a vocal segment of Snyder fans that as soon as Wonder Woman became the DCEU's first unqualified success (meaning, a financial AND artistic hit that audiences and film reviewers loved), wanted to deviate attention from Snyder's divisive, artistic failures like Man of Steel and Batman V Superman, and claim Wonder Woman as HIS success (just because he cast Gal Gadot and came up wit some elements of the basic plot). They pretty much tried to downplay the contributions that star Gal, director co-screenwriter Patty Jenkins, and screenwriter Allan Heinberg made. All in an attempt to prop up Snyder.
Also, Jenkins' WW was a "Wonder Woman for intellectuals"? LOL
How silly.
It was a well crafted, populsit, fun ride, and a big splashy blockbuster that also managed to integrate some brief thoughts about war and human nature, but it was FAR from some sort of deeply cerebral, intellectually stimulating
masterwork.
And that is perefctly fine with me.

yeah, and most superhero movies aren't anything more than what WW was anyway.
And that's fine.
I predict WW84 will be a "Frozen II": while it won't have any widespread hate, it will have a diverse amount of opinions across the spectrum, and the ones that hate it will be LOUD.
(And also like Frozen II, it will make bank at the box office.)
Just saw the trailer, and swinging from lightning bolts using her lasso is cool.

Oh so epic.
So I guess no urzkartaga origin story in the film right? That would suck since most ppl don't know her comic history plus it would be cool see on screen in live action. plot leaks says she has white & black hair(why wtf??) & she dosent show up in form until the very end. :/

Where did you get plot leaks?
From reddit & a youtube video breaking everything down. It was very interesting because alot of the leaks matched the trailer precisely

Now I'm gonna have to decide whether or not I want to read them. Hmm..
Or you can watch the plot leaks youtube video it's like 11min he dosent miss anything
Sorta OT (but still WW related): James Wan has been tapped to produce an Aquaman animated show. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/james-wan-produce-aquaman-animated-miniseries-hbo-max-1269930
As much as I commend WB for FINALLY giving WW her well deserved cinematic glory, I still feel that she should get a bigger (yes, bigger) push across multiple platforms.
Look at Harley Quinn: she has her own animated show now, and it boggles my mind that Diana has never had one. Now Aquaman will get his own cartoon show, and where is Diana's?
I still think that, despite the many cool ancillary products that DC/WB released after the first WW film smashed, they still did NOT put the same effort they normally use for male characters or female characters that are Batman-adjacent.
Hopefully, the WW sequel will be an even bigger hit than the first so DC/WB can get their act together and give Diana her due.
She needs a cartoon show, a bigger presence in places like Walmart and DOllar Stores, more toys and merchandise, and definitely a second comic book (Sensation Comics starring Wonder Woman [and a rotating back-up feature starring female characters and featuring female writers/artists]).

No surprise there, James Wan seems really passionate about Aquaman
Patty Jenkins jumped quickly into WW84 after the first WW film wrapped. Now that she is taking a break from the solo franchise, Patty has talked about a project featuring the Amazons of Themyscira. I’ve heard it’s being considered for the new streaming service, HBOMax, but that hasn’t been officially confirmed. I’m more than willing to wait for a WW-related project IF Patty is attached. Which she is. So a little more patience & hopefully we get a big reward.
