I have a big problem with Seth’s and Becky’s real relationship being a part of storylines (for several reasons). I don’t think anyone even wants to see that. Also, what is Baron Corbin anyway? Since he’s not the general manager anymore why doesn’t he go back to the Lone Wolf gimmick?
Bliss and Cross storyline is boring and predictable. We already know how it’s going to end.
The 24/7 Championship is one of the only things I enjoy on WWE nowadays.
I’d prefer Kofi feud squarely with KO without any outside shenanigans. Plus, Sami Zayn deserves better.
Shane McMahon is getting too much tv time. Like, he’s not a wrestler or authority figure so what exactly is the story here?? I also have no desire to see Undertaker wrestle again.
Bobby Lashley and Braun Stroman is a waste of everyone’s time. Lashley keeps losing so, there’s literally no reason to get invested in the feud.
Now, AJ and Ricochet is something I can look forward too. Ricochet simply doesn’t have bad matches and neither does Styles, it’s the one part of the program I that could be special.

I would love if Corbin could work with a Killer Kross or a Sami Callihan.Where he could be that cocky enforcer, who just enjoys beating people up and getting paid for it.
Honestly, that where I would go with Corbin. He would be the WWE version of Callihan with Ruby and AOP as his Wolfpack .
Oh please let this be the start of Joe vs. Kofi. Joe belongs in the ME scene.
I cannot tell yet if they're actually going to turn AJ heel or not, but I wouldn't be opposed to them doing so.
The 24/7 insanity was hilarious. Still waiting on Carmella getting her shot though, make it happen WWE.
Ah yes Becky & Seth vs. Lacey & Corbin. The match everyone expected but no one wanted, especially as the ME of a PPV. The ONLY way this could work, is as a feud-ender. Becky & Seth win, and then move on to new opponents.
Gotta wonder if Undertaker is still ticked off at how badly the Goldberg match went and now has something to prove in his own mind?
All in all, a pretty decent episode of Raw imo

I still don't see why people think no one wants to see the Becky/Seth inter gender match. They got a good reaction at the ppv, and they got a good reaction last night. Fans seem interested.

No one wants to see Seth and Becky as an onscreen couple because it will diminish both their characters. WWE has a shitty track record with on screen couples. Watch them both be definitely by their relationship and nothing else

Again, I'm not sure who you mean by no one, because they seemed to get a pretty good reaction at the PPV and on RAW.

It might not be the storyline everyone wants, but most fans tend to enjoy couples onscreen.
Hunter and Steph
Miz and Maryse
Macho and Liz
Booker and Queen Sharmell
Edge and Lita
Johnny Gargano and Candace Larae.
Like any storyline, it can be done right or wrong.
-
WWE has a terrible track record though, and most people don't want to see Becky and Seth's characters reduced to "being each other's BF/GF" which is what tends to happen in WWE. They were doing fine on their own and neither of them wanted this to be a big thing on-camera.
Also people are rolling their eyes at Corbin and Lacey getting titles shots AGAIN, and them dragging this out for another month.
-
I'm fine with on screen couples. Realistically WWE should have way more on-screen couples--it is a soap opera after all. And it allows the divisions to mix and women and men be in storylines that don't involve the title.

That said, the only Happy Ending to this match for me at this point, would be Brock cashing in on both of them, pinning Becky and becoming a Double-Champion. Because these feuds have dragged on way too long.
-
Eh, I'm fine with the mixed tag match, since the stipulation indicates that it will be the end of the feud
-
The feud should already be over. Becky made Lacey tap TWICE, Seth pinned Corbin TWICE, there's no logic to them get more title shots. I will continue to use this example, Asuka lost ONE match, and is now stuck in tag team limbo. But Corbin and Lacey can lose over and over again and keep getting shots regardless.
Also you just had an actually not bad PPV, but with dismal crowd numbers because you put on a bunch of matches no one wanted to see. Then you had Raw, which also had abysmal crowd numbers, and you've already told people that "hey that crap you were already tired of, well screw you we're doing it again anyway."
WWE, don't be surprise if ER has crap numbers as well, people are sick of this nonsense.

I don't see any reason why Baron Corbin would just let things go. It's only in character for him to keep trying as long as he is allowed to do so
-
So if Corbin and Lacey actually *win*, is the feud over? No, Rollins and Lynch would get their rematches right?
-
I don't see any reason why Baron Corbin would just let things go. It's only in character for him to keep trying as long as he is allowed to do so
Then don't allow him. Corbin isn't an authority figure anymore, he can complain all he wants and they can just go "you lost twice, get to the back of the line." And given that they in-kayfabe blamed him for the low ratings when he was Raw GM, they'd have little incentive to favor him now anyway.
It's like when Charlotte kept losing for line nine months straight, but they kept contriving reasons to give her title shots (whereas Asuka only had to lose A match to get kicked out of the title picture entirely), and the feud only ended when Charlotte finally won.
WWE needs to learn how to move on. People don't want to see Corbin and Lacey here anymore, they've made that obvious. Just let it go Vince.

The thing is, I thought the PPV and the RAW afterwards were actually pretty solid, and I think the reaction Seth and Becky got both at the PPV and on RAW likewise were pretty good. Again, I"m not sure people are that sick of it. Even on this thread a good half the people seem okay with it, judging from this page at least.
