Rollins and Murphy aren't slapped together, they're two members of a stable. It's the same as Kenny and Hangman over on AEW
this was their first match together and they got the belts over an established team. if they were gonna give the belt to the stable, give them to the AOP.
and it's not the same as kenny and hangman as they have been tagging for weeks, facing other teams and getting wins as a unit. not to mention, hangman has distanced himself from the elite.
If AOP is lucky, maybe Seth and Murphy will implement Free Bird Rules.
In the short term though, I'm fine with Seth having the tag belts. The single belts seem occupied at the moment, and a stable really doesn't have much cred if they don't have at least 1 title.
And that's the only reason that I am okay with it. I don't want to Andrade drop the US title, but if The Monday Night Messiah decided to sacrice the Beast, I would be ok with that.

I do agree that they should have given the belts to the AoP instead
I love the idea of Mania being split into two days. You sabotage your card, if you make sit through a 6-7 hour show.
Splitting mania into two nights makes sense given how bloated the show has gotten. I don't have it in me spend a full work day watching a single show.
Andrade vs. Rey, good match if a bit sloppy at times. Honestly Andrade vs. Angel Garza would be a better feud than him vs. Humberto. No offense to Humberto, but Garza has an "it" factor that he just doesn't.
Liv and Kairi both losing their return matches, boo!!
Drew vs. Brock at Mania, make it happen WWE.
Why, in a stable with an actual tag team in it, it's the two single's guys who end up winning the tag belts is beyond me? Vince still doesn't care about tag team wrestling.
Rusev losing again, not good.
Overall besides the Rey vs. Andrade match, pretty meh Raw.
Imo Garza jr is more tv ready than Humberto. Personally I would’ve kept Humberto under a mask for a couple of years and then decide if I want him to lose it.

that just shows you why they don't care about the tag teams. it's good that buddy won something but what does it mean when what he won has no value?

Asuka was present in fashion show mall when the shooting occured there. She's ok

I think the priority was more about Seth and the stable as a whole. Helps buddy a little, but he's just a ride along. Seth can't really look like a player if he doesn't win SOMETHING. If you're a top heel faction you need something to show for it.
The obvious alternative would be for him to have won the US title, but Andrade only JUST won it.

In this case, Seth & Murphy winning the tag belts was ok. Seth is tag team specialist--he's won tag belts with Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Jason Jordan, Braun Strowman and who knows who else that I'm forgetting. Buddy Murphy--also a former tag team specialist.
In this case, they beat an established team but are both tag team experts with more experience than the teams they were going up against. It's totally credible from a kayfabe standpoint.

still doesn't make sense that two guys who have never teamed together before would just get a tag title shot without doing a thing to earn it and winning them on their first try. regardless of who it is, that devalues the belts and the whole division. not that either of them had any value to begin with.

Don't the Viking Raiders currently have an Open Challenge going on?

in some really sad and infuriating news, there are reports coming in that some drama went down at rocky johnson's funeral.
vince reportedly said that the only good thing rocky ever did was marry his wife and have some kids. then he proceeded to do his vince powerwalk down the aisle.
pat patterson got and talk positively about rocky at first but then devolved into a curse filled rant, calling rocky a "son of a bitch" and "motherfucker". reportedly, pat had to be physically removed from the podium.
and the pastor over the entire thing talked for a hour and didn't seem to have a good opinion of wrestling and wrestlers.

Pretty sure we'll get more reports soon if that happened.
But that came from Billy Graham's Facebook and he deleted that post.
Either Vince and co are pieces of shit or Billy is (still) a piece of shit.
