Yeah, Rosenberg had a Multiple Man army take down Kitty, Karma's DS team, Bishop, Archangel, Jubilee, and Iceman. Since this is a more serious book, I'm hoping the X-Men don't get jobbed.
At least those Madri had guns and future tech stuff. Regular Madri vs. Storm and Jean +the others should not be a legitimate threat.

channing tatum looks like a potato and isn't a good actor. No ones asked him to be in a real movie for a number of years now

You're in the wrong thread.

Have to admit that the preview looks damn good. I can't wait to see what is in store with this storyline and beyond with Age of X-Man. I just hope that Bishop survives and that eventually Sunspot finds his way onto the team. The lack of Sunspot is really starting to annoy me.

In the vision from #1, you can see a couple Multiple Men with different powers.
What happened to all the spoilers posts? Did it get deleted?
What does Karma DS mean?
Karma's Dead Souls team.
Havok's probably just not in the first issue. Astonishing folds into this, remember.
when does that happen?

I see a Toad tongue and a little fire blast or two. Still not a legit threat to Ororo and Jean + a whole team. A nice hurricane and/or mind wipe should do the trick lickety split.
Well this is a big deal: http://www.adventuresinpoortaste.com/2018/11/08/exclusive-marvel-preview-uncanny-x-men-1/
Hmmmm looks like Multiple Man is going to be a big part of this.
Is this his reward for luring Scott to his death?
when does that happen?
Astonishing ends with issue 17.

Yeah but where's the fun in that?

Of course, they aren't a legit threat as far as power. I mean, you don't see Ororo or any of the X-Men struggling in that spread. They are acting uncharacteristically bloodthirsty so clearly, something's up. But besides that, Jamie is their friend and if they were really fighting him, it would be hard to put him down without either killing him or creating more dupes.
-
That scene alone looks likes there has to be well over a few thousand dupes. Say what you will but but any of the X-Men would have a hard time dealing with the sheer numbers of an army that size, let alone someone with the skills and knowledge and unified goal Multiple Man possess. Those who think this fight should be a cake walk for individual members don't truly understand the scope of the threat the team is facing.
-
I don't remember to many of them being that close to Jamie actually, sure they wouldn't want to kill him but it's not like if Jean was fighting Storm by any stretch...
-
Jamie is one of the most powerful mutants, he was used as a weapon of mass destruction in many alternate realities. When he dupes himself, he also replicates his clothes or anything he is holding.

Jean has manipulated more minds at once(such as when she split Charles's mind over what was it, millions, to hide him from Cassandra Nova back in Morrison's run). And a hurricane from Storm can easily sweep up thousands, not to mention freezing rain or another area of attack situation. Rosenberg clearly has a hardon for Madrox, but no, he really shouldn't be that big of a problem.
