What's happening with killing of Multiple Men? It's so confusing.
With the new preview I think it's just part of Jean's premonition and isn't something that's ACTUALLY happening. Whether it does later or not is too soon to tell.

I think the premonition comes true in #3, but it looks to play out differently.

Not sure why they'd actually have so much problems with the Jamie dupes, after all it's not like any of them would have any powers and none of them would probably be terribly skilled at fighting so just carpet bomb them...

Multiple Man actually sent out 100's if not 1000's of dupes around the world to learn various skills in his Maddrox series. Most of them came back and Multiple Man absorbed all that skill and knowledge into him making him probably one of the most skilled fighters on the X-Men. Not only that but you have to think some of those dupes probably joined different government organizations or who knows what else. Multiple Man's sheer knowledge and skill spread out of over the ability to create an endless army is what makes him dangerous.
The X-Men are good and all but fighting 1000's of skilled warriors with a unified goal would give anyone trouble.

They would have powers, but it's the same as Jamie Prime's - creating more dupes. So the best tactic would indeed be to fight from a distance, as all Jamie can do is swarm them with superior numbers and beat everyone up using martial arts. He wouldn't be able to reach the fliers like Storm.

Well it kinda depends on where this army of Madroxes is. If they're in a major urban center than they'd be a huge threat to any random humans in their path and the X-Men couldn't just bombard from distance without causing a ton of civilian casualties.
Plus depending on the materials available to them or the knowledge and training they have, the dupe could probably find or even build long range weapons to shoot at any fliers.

If there's a character you can do all sorts of asspulls beyond Bat-God levels, it's Madrox. Dude learned too much to not be some kind of threat. If the knowledge of the previous Prime goes to the current one, he's certainly a force to be reckoned with, even with how chaotic and divergent the dupes' mindsets are.

Don't some of the previews show each of the dupes using a different power a la Legion's multiple personalities?
I'm excited for this but wish they would stop writing X-23 so quippy. I prefer her blunt and laconic.
Yeah, I’m tired of it. Everybody has to talk like they’re in th MCU now. Everyone has to make quips and sound exactly the same.

I was thinking the same thing.

This preview looks decent enough, even with Asrar phoning it it a little bit.
I'll get it but am honestly not sure what to expect, quality-wise.

Yeah, Rosenberg had a Multiple Man army take down Kitty, Karma's DS team, Bishop, Archangel, Jubilee, and Iceman. Since this is a more serious book, I'm hoping the X-Men don't get jobbed.

What happened to all the spoilers posts? Did it get deleted?
What does Karma DS mean?
