Not really. The Avengers are superheroes - they aren't Damage Control. Just because fixing the damage caused in their battles isn't their role doesn't mean they don't care about the damage.
I can understand why Kamala was upset, but the Avengers really aren't suited for going around and repairing damages. That's what Damage Control exists for, and the Maria Stark Foundation, etc.
FYI, the Maria Stark Foundation no longer existed by that point. Superior Iron Man caused Tony to lose a lot of money, hence, he couldn't afford to pay the Avengers. That's what broke up Hickman's Avengers World team. The ANAD Avengers were unpaid, hence why they had three kids and the secretive female Thor on there. Vision's solo showed him actually having a job, which paid for his house. The Avengers were later funded by Parker Industries, and then by Avengers Inc, which was set up by the Human Torch when he was on the Unity Squad.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know about Peter or Johnny funding the team.

Tony is in the final Squirrel Girl issue.

I figured he would be as he was in issues 48 and 49. Thanks as always.

I know. I was referring to the broader history of the Avengers (and superheroes in general) and how repairing damages isn't really their role or their skill set. Its true throughout Marvel history - not just that specific time with that specific roster - which is why Ms. Marvel's outrage over it was misplaced. As a lifelong superhero fangirl she knows the Avengers aren't Damage Control.
I know they needed some incident to push Kamala into quitting the team, but I always felt that was a poor choice since it seemed so forced.

Tony has Stark Solutions repair any damages he’s involved with now.

That is pretty amazing. I still have to watch Far From Home.

would you say that the Iron Man canon focuses on the man outside the armor just as much as the action scenes in general throughout Tony's history? Or does it lean more toward the "fighting a villain/new technology goes haywire" action stuff?

both of them just go hand in hand tbh
especially since the man started with using technology for the wrong reasons

I say it goes hand in hand as well. That’s what makes Tony such an interesting character. He is just as intriguing out of the armor as he is in it. Very very few characters out there like that.
