The family stuff and seeing how the kids are growing up is nice and all, but I'm ready for there to be lots of action, cool fights, and adventure now.
After the Thing vs Hulk fight there needs to be an adventure to somewhere new and cool. Get back to the other important aspect of the team besides family.

It should be something completely different and new, not connected to an already known location. The FF is all about exploring the new, enough with the same locations. Give me a dimension full of razor blades or something lol.
The FF were the innovators of the Marvel Universe, expanding the universe with new locations, characters, and concepts. It's an important aspect of the team that has sadly been neglected over the years.
-
Develop the Griever some more. Give us more female villains, explore the “Positive Zone”, discover new races and dimensions. The FF and it’s long History is a treasure trove of potential.
-
Dan "Night King" Slott: "The FF are Cosmic! :-D"
Dan "Doc Doom" Slott: "I've wanted to work on FF for years. So, there's so much stuff I've been dying to do. You'll see when we get there, but there are things that will push all your FF buttons in the right way."
Dan "Captain Universe" Slott: "A big part of what made the Fantastic Four the World's Greatest Comic Magazine was that it kept going forward, kept changing, and kept showing you something you've never seen before"
Dan "One Above All" Slott: "Yes, but I think if you asked any citizen on the streets of Latveria who their favorite hero is, they'll tell you it's Doom. And it's not because someone is holding a gun to their head."
-
The tiniest amount of effort you possibly give the Fantastic Four without rehashing old plots is to develop the world around them. All you need to do is develop where the legend of things like Bahamut and Kibuthan from Canaanite mythology came from in the Marvel Universe, go hunt some cryptids who can be very real since this is the Marvel Universe, or dig up some ancient ruins from some hidden mutant society. Something big and esoteric would be nice.
-
I imagine the FF will be the one to introduce the Eternals back to the Marvel Universe.

There's New Berlin, an underground country deep below South America populated by Jim Hammond style androids, that was created by Alex Ross in his The Torch mini-series. Reed had an indirect hand in its discovery because he gave Hammond and Toro the Horton-cell detector. I'd love to see a follow up on that involving the FF.

I remember that...IIRC...that was before they ruined Toro by making him an Inhuman.

I love that War of the Realms gave the FF these little moments to shine.

It's still a rumor right, we'll see if it's true next month.
