hahahhaha
its Englehart not Roy
The badguy behind tchalla teleports in and out before T'challa notices, because the vibranium mounds was muffling all sounds.
Then i can't relaly remember what happens. Its West Coast Avengers, Annual #3
HSH gotta have a low grade healing factor in it to survive the abuse dished out by McGregor
It was also clear (to me) that T'Challa was enhanced, like the in the MCU. Killmonger had to be, too.
Still, it was crazy for T'Challa to be a king and field leader while not protecting himself.
I'd be scared to death if my king was coming home nearly bled out.
Yeah, it was a bold choice to destroy the HSH and I wonder if they'll walk that back at some point. It's not strictly necessary now, but it could be an interesting plot point depending on the story of Black Panther 2.
I like to think that perhaps MCU T'Challa's body should be producing the effects of the HSH on its own.
His bloodline has been ingesting it for centuries.

If it worked that way, then in theory Shuri would have the abilities of the Black Panther too.
But presumably the movies don't work like the comics did, where T'Challa becomes depowered if he's not Black Panther, so in theory the herb probably won't matter unless the story invents a reason for them to need it again.
Priest and Hudlin made the character to who he is today. Without them, he's just a dude in pajamas who gets smacked around and is too "Noble" to do anything else
You post reminds me of a scene from the Korvac saga. When the Avengers confront Korvac, and the battle begins, one strategy was for someone to grab Corina (Korvac's lover). BP was close, but too noble to grab her. Hank Pym bum-rushed her.

Yes, she should.
This is more about me posting head canon stuff out loud.

Its almost a little funny that Pym is written as the one willing to attack a woman, given his later history.

Roy's tchalla was straight garbage
Hank's always ready to lay those hands though :P
