Bast i love Panther's Quest and moreso I love that there's finally a show where me, my 2 year old son, and 9 year old daughter are glued to our seats. It's actually our first "family show" and for that I cannot thank Redjack and the team enough.
M'baku's favorite NBA Player has got to be Joel Embiid right? Both are kinda troll ish, and I think M'baku would appreciate pure size and physicality of Embiid
Who's T'challa favorite NBA player?
Harden flops too much, Durant is too Durant, Kwahii snakey, Curry doesn't seem to fit.
He ridin with Lebron? Giannis? Anthony Davis? Kyrie?
Has he been following the career of Luka in the Euroleague and is now like, "I TOLD YOU ON DRAFT NIGHT THAT ATLANTA WAS NUTS!!" braggin to everyone?
These seem like an important questions
Is this fair?
I feel like Ryan Coogler took T'Challa's character from the comics and split it into 3
The genius of Shuri
The tactical know-how and pragmatism of Okoye
And the royal demeanour of T'Challa himself

And I mean I can see why he did it; Shuri and Okoye went on to be big hits but I feel like it hurts everyone involved, especially T'Challa and Shuri.

Shuri is more than just T'Challa's Q. She has that warrior's instinct to go with that genius intellect. A (friendly) rival to T'Challa, someone you could believe would be worthy of the mantle of Black Panther

The movie probably wouldn't have been as big of a hit if he didn't do this though. I think all those things can still exist and get prime T'Challa if the sequel gets a longer run time.

I'll give you Shuri part (giving her T'challa's genius) but no on Okoye.
Okoye was Okoye. She was a loyal Dora. She didn't take anything away from T'challa at all.
Not every supporting character and character on screen takes away from the lead.
Y'all are kinda weird with this twitter thing. You can just go ahead and say it is YOUR opinion instead of finding some rando and twitter and pseudo agreeing with it lol

Thought BP using the web grenade against Spidey was great. Then you had to top it off (literally) with the the double whammy dumpster trap. Genius.

I think it all made sense. They needed a way to make Shuri distinct from Okoye and Nakia (who are both fighters). Making her the Q of the group rather than just another female fighter allows her to stand out.
As far as Okoye having tacticak know how... she's a soldier, so that's to be expected.

I mean, one would think that M'Baku doesn't like any outsider's sport but I'll endorse this anyway.

I would say T'Challa appreciates the fundamentals of the game and that defense is half of it. I certainly think he thought LeBron was the all around best player when people weren't giving him his due. I suspect, lately, he's started to change to Kawhi because of how all around good he is at the game.
If we're going with movie Shuri, I think she's with Steph.
Killmonger is a fan of Durant since he appreciates a man with a giant chip on his shoulder.
