Is Rachel still dating Kurt
Because Scott's thing is supposed to be long-range attack only. If his opponents ever closed distance to melee then he's done something wrong, never mind that he's also supposed to be a multi-discipline martial arts expert (and theoretically may have been taught to swash-buckle by his dad from his Teen-clops memories).
How did you put it again, Fluffster? Cyke's that one video game character who's perfectly balanced, but keeps getting the nerf bat because so many people like to use him?

Nope. They broke up.

I think Fluffy mentioned Cyke as that one character who is continually nerfed, yet is able to beat other characters.

Close, but not quite. He is indeed a well balanced character, but it's not that so many people like to use him. Rather, the problem lies with good players beating (by the skin of their teeth, but still) Game Devs online while they're /playing top tier characters. ;)
Anyway. Le sigh. I'd completely forgotten about those X-Men delays. So X-Men #3 was the last we saw of Cyke in 2019, eh? Getting Jean to not go Dark Phoenix on that council meeting over him spending time with Emma and pulling his punches against geriatric Hellfire brats only for aforementioned pulling of punches to backfire horribly? Could've been worse, I suppose.

Really what issue was this

Disassembled #1 I believe. Right after they do, they find Cable dead.

They found cable dead in Extermination #1.

Kurt and Rachel broke up in Gold 33. It happened right after the Dark Rachel Saga when it was revealed that Mesmero may have messed with her head to orchestrate that relationship. Extermination and Cable being dead happens after this but not connected at all
Kurt seemed to be in love with Rachel on X-men Red. He was with Meggan on the AU but that wasn't real.

Right, meant Extermination #1. I got Disassembled and Extermination mixed up.

I thought Kurt and Ray broke up at the end of Gold when she dumped him. Was there more?

They were broken up in Red but he still felt affection for her which Jean picked up on

Yes, I know about Red. But was there any actual development there in Disassembled or did posters make a mistake? I couldn't be fucked to read that ****.

They messed up as Rachel was a non-factor in Disassembled
