So much is said without saying anything in the panel where her diamond form begins manifesting. Brilliant moment

It's a heart wrenching moment because you know if she didn't shift into diamond form to dampen her emotions, she was going to cry from that, and she has too much pride to let that happen.
I bought the full trade at Barnes & Noble and haven't regretted it. It's got some great stuff (the Eva Bell time travel story with Morganna, Cyclops and the Cuckoos messing with Maria Hill, Emma and Magik being adorkable during the Malloy incident).
IMO this is when the book went completely downhill. Its only saved by some gorgeous art but the story was a waste of time and went on for far too long

Eh, the Malloy stuff was nuclear grade filler, but that's about it. Once the SHIELD stuff started rolling, it rolled fast. The ending was only three issues, and worked really well up until everyone ignored it.

The SHIELD arc happened before the Malloy stuff. The whole plot with Malloy and Xavier's will really derailed and killed the momentum the book had leading up to that arc

Yeah, it was weapons grade trash, but once it was mercifully over, the series wrapped up well.
TO seems likely - but if they want to tie his solo series into his return, they could always have Corsair be the responsible party via the Shrouded (the same people who brought him back) and Scott was laying low until his dependency on illegal medicines to survive wore off. But that's too much continuity for today's Marvel, I think.
I would *love* that being the actual reason he's back. Not convoluted and easy to follow. You could even squeeze in some bonding time between them while he's waiting to for the dependency to go away. Way too perfect so obviously the real method will be stupid, lol.

This makes me wish they had worked things out. I still want to see them talk, even if it doesn’t (and probably wouldn’t) lead to Scemma 2.0.

Same here. At the very end of things, she was the only one that continued to stay at his side. He really owes it to her.
Ah, this scene. I know it was when Scott wanted to drop everything, but I still want to punch him in the face then tie him up to her until they work things out and start kissing.
Any love for when Cyke absolutely wrecked some sentinels during a period where his powers were quite broken?

His broken power didn't make even sense, but I can't deny it was badass and spectacular to watch. Just like his Bendis costume lol

Yeah, the guy may have been depressed, but this was something that made you want to shake him for awhile.
Also considering the situation, I'm surprised that the ptsd of killing Xavier that was hinted on, never actually went anywhere. Then again, most of the plot points by Bendis never went anywhere.

I mean, it kind of did. It was the reason he didn't really stand up to his accusers, and why he tried to turn himself in.

I love Emma, and I like Scott, but their relationship was beyond repair at that point. They deserve to be at each other's side as close friends, but their relationship was always unfair to both of them. Scott could never truly forget about Jean, which hurt Emma and made Scott feel guilty because he genuinely tried to make it work.
