$1150 is a bit much. Especially since it has some mistakes like how her boots look more like Emma's rather than her own clunky boots.

$1150!?! Holy hell! Who has that kind of money to drop on something like this?
I could have MAYBE coughed up $500-$600, but I cannot justify spending so much for a statue. Especially when I have a mortage, student loans, and the general joys of owning a home (like needing a new furnace you did not budget for ).
And it looks so beautiful! What a damn shame :(
It's much nicer than the Kotobukiya statue, but you could buy the whole set of four for a little over $200.

Can you even buy XM Studios statues in the US? Out of curiosity I visited their site and it doesn't look like they ship to the US or Canada for Marvel products.
I for sure have the Kotobukiya version of Magik...however the yellow soul-sword bugs me. Wish they would have kept it white.
I see XM stuff on ebay often enough, I'm sure for the collector it's not hard to track these down. There are dedicated forums for figure collectors of all stripes.

XM Studios is doing a Magik sculpt this year. Holy cow it the detail cool. Also has a "non-darkchild" version of the head. Seeing how most of us won't be dropping the $1150 to buy her, I thought you'd all like to see it.[/QUOTE]

But it's so expensive :/ I don't have the money for it.
Quick sketch of our gal I did today while work was slow. Inspired by Bachalo's style.

I'm enjoying her "don't mess" vibe - there's a lot you can read into her body language from this sketch, but she's very relaxed. Very impressive work!

Looks like a more "normal" looking version of Magik will be on the cover of Powers of X #3?

Bangs or or gtfo.
Following Extraordinary's lead I see. Proper costume instead of the training suit, and her bangs have grown out again.
This is what Hickman meant by breaking the nostalgia loop. We may be getting new, innovative ideas but at the cost of Yana’s bangs.

Her bangs are a physical signifier, like Storm's white hair. Marvel doesn't understand the importance of hair!
