Voice scrambler unless he can do a good Batman voice naturally. Bale could not, Afflek could but they still distorted it.
Agreed. They need to filter the voice through a modulator. It adds some authenticity as well since someone such as Bruce would employ one.
Bale's Batman voice in Begins was the best out of his three films. I don't know what the hell possessed him when he was doing TDK, though. That one was absolutely shocking. He sorted turned it around for TDKR, but it was nowhere near Begins. At least to my ears, anyway.
So, voice scrambler thing, or throat cancer voice?
Out of those two choices I'd say go with the scrambler/modulator. Personally, I'd like to see them go the Kevin Conroy route; deeper and more authoritative for Batman, softer and lighter for Bruce Wayne.

Voice scrambler, whether he can do a good Batman voice or not. It adds another layer of groundedness that I personally love.

i'm not interested in any more origin stories. not batman, not the villains.

He should autotune his voice to the theme from the animated series.

With the recasting of Batman and possibly Superman, is the DCEU officially dead?
Are we only going to get solo movies?

And Flash. Ezra Miller is rumoured to be out too.

I doubt even the people in charge know the answer to that one.

Meh, I still don't think we ever truly got a great origin film. Begins was good, but I'd like to see something better.

It's not an origin
It helped that this new Batman needed to conform to a defined age bracket. He is written as around 30 years old, and the story is neither another rehashing of his origin nor the tale of a seasoned crimefighter ruling Gotham City. He is Bruce Wayne still trying to find his footing on his way to becoming the genius detective.
The old one is. Miller as Flash and Fisher as Cyborg also seem to be gone. DCEU 2.0 will have Pattinson as Batman and I guess someone as Supergirl instead of Cavill as Superman.
Gadot and Momoa will get their sequels, but will be the last remnants of the original DCEU.

As long as Wonder Woman and Aquaman are getting sequals, the DCEU isn't dead.
But they are in a weird place.

I want to see a teen Dick Grayson Robin.
Damian comes with too much backstory at this point. If Affleck continued, he could have been introduced.

Other then throw away lines Aquaman and WW completely stand on they're own. Just pretend BvS and Justice League never happened and if The Batman is a hit make those three the new DCEU.

Would have preferred Wilford, but Patterson's a solid 2nd choice.
