How does May knowing Peter is Spider-Man make her a superhero or supervillain?
I’m more talking about how Peter doesn’t have a lot of people that aren’t involved with Spider-Man in or heroics in his life anymore. Not literally a superhero.

I voted yes largely because that was the last time I was invested in Aunt May as a character.
I never liked JMS's Aunt May once she found out. She felt like a completely different character.
On top of that, I think it really hurt her role in the books. She was a reflection of Peter's normal life and a look back at the good old days for him. Once she finds out, it just doesn't feel like there's a normal for him anymore.
I gotta disagree I actually think her knowing made him feel more normal. Her knowing actually made her more viable to explore both sides.
