I can accept the fact that not all Republicans are bad, just as not all Democrats are good, that simply isn’t possible, not in the often chaotic world of politics. But, the fact that precious few members of the GOP have offered even the most tepid protests of the policies of Trump or his administration tells me they’re either too afraid of the Orange Menace, or maybe they have little problem with the hideous things he’s done as president, and that paints them with the same brush as all the thugs, cretins and scumbags in the GOP that worstblogever has profiled over the years.
He was meeting with poor "victims" of Twitter account suspensions today at the White House.
I hope you're being sarcastic.
The picture you paint however, as unrealistic as it is, is that the democrats have always been this perfectly immaculate example that has never made a mistake or has smudges on their record.
I don't recall WBE ever stating or implying anything of the sort. He does have a long history of debunking the myth that both sides are just as bad, however. There are plenty of cases of Democrats misusing their power for their own personal gain or in general just being schmucks, just nowhere near the degree and numbers to that which Republicans have shown themselves to be. I don't think that a 1:10 ratio would be that far off, personally!

A forum that has a problem with cruelty and fascism is not automatically an "echo chamber."

"victims" in quotes, because that's how Trump's been portraying them. So yes. 100% sarcastic there.
A forum that has a problem with cruelty and fascism is not automatically an "echo chamber."
I'd like to think places where voices are heard would have a cacophony of "cruelty and fascism are bad" sounding out and be met with silence, y'know? It's not like we're arguing the finer points of wedge issues. We're arguing "children shouldn't be in cages" and "pedophiles and other sexual predators should face justice and not be placed in positions of power".
Kinda should be just "given" on a political spectrum.

Got an alert saying Trump has given up on adding that citizenship question to the 2020 Census.

He did give some word salad statement about how he's signing an executive order to tell all federal agencies to tell him everything they know about the "citizen and non-citizen population of the country".
And he's going to pretend that's the same as what he wanted in the census question, declare he won, even though all those federal agencies are just going to point at the regular data gathered in the past cesnsus to comply with his request.
He is a moron, after all.

Speaking of that Trump "impotently tries an end-around the census thing that won't work" press conference...
It was in the Rose Garden, and fresh off of spending the morning trying to insist that USWNT star Megan Rapinoe was up to something sinister, former Trump administration with Hungarian Nazi affiliations Sebastian Gorka showed up with some MAGA cronies to chant his name as he started threatening to kick a journalist's ass. And then skulked away, because Gorka's, at the end of the day, a coward.
Kinda underlines why Megan Rapinoe didn't want to go to the White House, y'know?

Either that or make up numbers out of thin air. Trump is too damn stupid to know the difference.

Elect a clown, expect a circus, and there’s a three ring clusterfuck in Washington these days.

Gotta also add, the gal in the MAGA dress calling the journalists "Fake News" is Joy Villa, a C-Lister as far as musicians/actresses go who was busier earlier in the morning on Instagram spreading conspiracy theories that the Twitter loss of service was deliberate, and to make Trump look bad.
Again, this is what American conservatism has become.
They do and have. Mistakes have been made all around. The picture you paint however, as unrealistic as it is, is that the democrats have always been this perfectly immaculate example that has never made a mistake or has smudges on their record.
Wow. I'm sorry you feel that way. If anybody ever wondered why your everyday Joe White taxpayer, with his head down, just trying to keep his sanity as trudges back and forth to work eveyday is becoming more and more agitated with the democratic party, look no further than this quote.
Jesus, man. Way to go with more of your insulting generalizations and assumptions.
"Mistakes have been made." Ah, the passive voice. Care to point out the actual conservatives who made those mistakes? WBE does on a daily basis, and even points out several liberals/Democrats once a year.
And if you're "Joe White Taxpayer," and you don't see how the upper 1%, who are majority Republican/conservative, are more responsible for your lot in life than any Democrat/liberal pushing for diversity, then you're just a damn fool who's being played by that very same upper 1%.

OH WBE-EEeeeeee…

A Republican running to be governor of Mississippi declined to allow a reporter to accompany him on a campaign trip just because she is a woman, the reporter said Tuesday night.
According to Mississippi Today reporter Larrison Campbell, she and her colleagues reached out to three Republican gubernatorial candidates to ask for ride-alongs with the candidates. The two others agreed, but when Campbell reached out to state Rep. Robert Foster in late June, Foster’s campaign director replied days later offering to let her accompany Foster on an upcoming 15-hour campaign trip—as long as a male colleague accompanied her.
And she's an out lesbian, so obviously not going to be trying anything. Therefore, he's coming right out and saying that he can't be trusted to not force himself sexually on literally any woman he's left alone with.
I mean, I guess it's good that he's at least letting people know about it...
Well, I find that strange, since in this thread alone (and others scattered around as I have read) various insults demonizing conservatives and republicans on the whole, as though just by associating with either of those entities, you must be an evil bigot...and all the rest of those lumping adjectives you listed.
Bigot, or bigot-adjacent. Yeah.
And...?
