Duggan's reply makes me think Belit, though.

Oh, gross. Do people even read those Conan books?
Oh, gross. Do people even read those Conan books?
Yeah, they’re really good too. Duggan’s Savage Avengers is surprisingly funny for something everyone thought would be edgy garbage.
I would replace that with characterization if only because, as much as I liked Duggan's Rogue, he seemed to forget about her accent half the time.
I forgot about that. Hot take: de-accenting characters is a way of removing the 'taint' of the working-classes. Marvel should have an accent coach write a style guide from them.
accents kill dialogue every time someone tries to be chris claremont and murders the english language because they can't just write the distinguishable dialect
tini howard x-force could be cool i dunno maybe probably

Tell that to James Joyce and Irvine Welsh, yo.
Imagine how great it would be if Carey came back and wrote Rogue again.

Yeah how about no.

No, thanks.

I'm with you. Her leading that team was big yes.
but with a more rational mind, he did it already we should probably move on.
Yeah how about no.
Why not? His Rogue was probably the best she's ever been written. The stuff with Magneto was great too.

I've written an academic paper on why that is not true.

KT outright said she was letting go of the accent because Rogue had outgrown it. Another miss in the way she handles Rogue, in my opinion.
