Definitely intrigued by the notion of team rosters being more fluid going forward. I can see some drawbacks to that, but also a great deal more exposure possible for the C-List and below crew.
-
He wants to make Cyclops cool again.
His favorite character is Magneto.
He's a fan of Kieron Gillen's version of Sinister.
He has a love for Emma Frost.
This run is going to be epic. :o

I will say that in re-reading everything, probably the most criminally underrated X-Men writer is Mike Carey. I mean, it’s obvious that Mike is brilliant, but there are a lot of things buried in his books that are tier-one ideas that writers following him must have just blown right past.
Mike Carey is the natural successor of classic Chris Claremont.
Very Good, Hickman.

A man of culture, indeed.

I’ve been a lifelong BendisxImmonen shipper as well.

I really love that his Emma appreciation started around Gen X, that should bode well for heroic!Emma. Also, interesting that we might be seeing a ton of callback costumes or brand new ones just because those are their clothes now.

It is good to see that team recognized
I thought everybody here hated Bendis run.

So long as Carey stays away from R&G I'm fine. I hate what he did with her arc.

Nice to see he's familiar with Monet from her GenX days. I am glad he listed that run & not PAD's X-Factor. So hopefully, we'll get a good development of Monet that evolves from her GenX days, and not that psycho bitch PAD was writing. Also hopefully, we'll get the brown Monet rather than the white one from PAD. I wish we could've gotten at least one Larraz panel this Monday. He drew my favorite Rogue, and I think he can do the same for Monet. I already love her look on the HoX cover, but a better shot where she's not obscured by Kurt would be great. lol
Far as the panel we did get. Ugh. #1, Creed's in fur. #2, he's with Mystique. On a serious note, it looks like a flashback to Pak's Weapon X but him x Raven is the last thing I wanted see addressed from that series. lol Sadly, with Graydon back, Creed x Mystique scenes are inevitable. Maybe in 30 years, Marvel will stop pushing this ship.

It got more appreciation because of the writers who came after him
