Yeah, it looks like the "everyone was resurrected and repowered" theory was on the money, if this art accurately shows mutants who will be seeing some use. But there's still a lot of missing mutants. There's only four Cuckoos, so one's missing. I see X-23, but not Scout. Several members of both the classic and Marvel Legacy Generation X teams are missing, as are a few of the Academy X era kids (Wind Dancer being a particularly odd omission as she was the main star of that series). Firestar and Justice weren't the only mutant New Warriors (Silhouette, Namorita). Mr Immortal is missing from the Great Lakes Avengers.
I think this is proably like the start of "okay we have all these mutants running around krakoa." So it makes it a lot easier for people to do stuff people were suggesting like elections and how their club life might be and what not, almost like a guide to give the writers an inherent supporting cast on all of the books and to build the world of krakoa. I'm really looking forward to it, it will be nice seeing all of these mutants living together and interacting even if some of it is mainly background.
I'm worried about Excalibur.
Tini Howard's references of X-men are so recent.
I'm not sure she's ready to write stories based on obscure Marvel UK comics from the early 80s.
aw c’mon we already had 80s Excalibur, fresh takes keep the books alive. Also, she likes David’s xfactor so I trust her with my life

Skin and Synch are the only ones I saw :o :o :o

But I'm not talking about original Excalibur.
I'm talking about Alan Moore's and Jamie Delano's Captain Britain.

The fact that Howard is a younger writer actually makes me even more excited for the title.
It means that she's going to likely have fresher concepts and ideas to bring to the brand.

I spotted everyone but Husk & Skin lol
OK. So Bryan Hill just sent me from "I might pick up the first issue" on Fallen Angels to "All right, then. On board for the first arc".
Same here! I am no longer on the fence.

Interesting that Rachel and Nightcrawler are with the fallen angels, near Sinister...

No Rhapsody. Comics over.

Jesse Bedlam made it. This is a GLORIOUS day.

Those were the first 2 I looked for and was beyond happy to find them.

I just noticed that Rachel, Kurt, Sinister, and Dazzler are all large. That would for sure be an interesting mix to Fallen Angels. Plus it would be nice to see Rachel and Nate interacting.

My eyes hurt from looking at those covers, but in a good way. Gosh I would love to see Synch come back.

Are Madelyne and Nate Grey on there?

I agree. Hickman is in charge and is not only a lifelong fan but a huge researcher. I think having writers on his team with less sentimentality towards the characters and stories is extremely helpful.
