they are probably growing Bling!s and Penances to keep Emplate fed.
That’s dark, considering we saw two baby Penances running around.
We definetely need a Housewives of Krakoa special Special now.

The Old Lady Gang just tried to steal some Krakoan flowers. Shade!

It's more of a Proteus like situation. A well fed Marius could become a normal person finally.

LOL How dare they!?
The X-Men should have destroyed their entire prune juice and metamucil supplies. And hide their orthopedic shoes.
Let’s hope not for Scott’s sake, since it’s now canon that Emma has a “serious problem” down there and needs to douche.
Its canon mutants cant catch stds. The bad smell came from Scotts ripe juice which she was full of. He needs to fix his diet.

bad smell doesn't come from Stds. not always
It's more of a Proteus like situation. A well fed Marius could become a normal person finally.
Nah he'd still have to feed on Mutants taking on some of their physical attributes
We definetely need a Housewives of Krakoa special Special now.
You're right, they are probably growing Bling!s and Penances to keep Emplate fed.
Considering Monet was brought back with alterations (her Penance form), perhaps Marius was also tweaked such that he doesnt need to feed on actual marrow
Nah he'd still have to feed on Mutants taking on some of their physical attributes
I meant it in the sense that he would be anchored to this dimension and not endlessly tortured in that other dimension he gets sucked in when he starves. All mutants are beautiful on Krakoa :) but they could give him some lab engineered Summers marrow so he can become hawt too.

This is getting gross now.
This issue was alright, it introduced a new threat and wrinkle to Krakoa with them being able to compromise Krakoa gates to a extent. Them being not the typical type of X-villians and having another motive other than mutant hatred adds a layer of complicity to the conflict they have with the X-men. Shaw trying to engage them, instead of straight up attacking them, i feel was a good way of displaying how the Black King goes about business in the new direction we have. I don't mind the series so far introducing new concepts and then moving forward to the next concept the very next issue, but i'm hoping in the future we get more from the other story beats picked up in little interludes.
As the seeds are planted i wanna see some of their growth. It is still early though, so it is not a big complaint of mine. I think this was alright, but i want a little more from this title.
There is certainly something to be said that for all the comments on their powerlessness and obsolescence, this is like the fourth time in as many weeks that the baseline capacity for innovation has punched mutantdom squarely in the gut.
Forge needs to pick up the pace
