[QUOTE=yogaflame;5254108]Xavier goes public 'one month ago' before the events of HoX where they blow up Mothermold. 'Five months ago', the X-Men are already planting flowers, which means they're already on Krakoa. There was no Krakoa when T'Challa first went missing in 2018. There is an entire four months of the X-Men on Krakoa before we see TC with the Avengers. I think Coates last issues take place just before 'one month ago', which means he was gone from Red until 'one month ago', which is at[I] least[/I] four months.[/QUOTE]
or he is made aware of wakanda 1 month ago from the present and he goes missing sometime thereafter. from all the bp books his time away was depicted in weeks not months.

Hot-up allyuh head all yuh want...Four months...two weeks...day before yesterday...it doh matter. Coates' BP is irrelevant to anything and everything concerning Storm leading into and post XoS.
As Marauders 13 will fully attest and XoS Destruction will show...Storm and T'Challa have parted ways while three months from now some will be reading a story where-in Storm and T'Challa are fighting some galactic battle. Yuh could shoe-horn til yuh brains bleed, it will be totally and completely irrelevant.

Shuri had an entire 10 issue run; two weeks had already passed in just the first issue, and he was still gone at the end of the series. When he returns she takes several pages explaining all the changes since he's been gone, including how they are in a new golden age of peace. His mother talks about how much she misses him. He laments 'how much time' he and Ororo have lost. That's not a matter of a couple weeks.

I agree it most likely wasn't just a mere two weeks that is why I mentioned it was a minimum two weeks or at most a month from time lines documented. that said considering the lack of synergy between the books across the different offices trying to pinpoint the exact time from outside books would only complicate establishing the exact length of time he was mia.

That's what I'm thinking. It doesn't matter, so why the big push to suggest T'Challa was gone for longer than what the actual BP books suggest lol. The thing is behind us now, let's just hope Storm's in great hands, which is possible if Hickman's handling the character's development personally.
Storm getting called to the stars in XOS Destruction feels like a reference to how she was called to the Serengeti back when she was child. It could be a coincidence but if we're getting some kind of epic journey of self-discovery and purpose-finding for Storm that'd be amazing.

Its nothing wrong with trying to determine how long he was away from earth prime. Despite those who don't like Coates until another writer steps in and retcons what he established what he wrote is very much so RELEVANT to canon and 616 continuity. Attempting to diminish his works through hollow shade will not change that reality. (^_^)
And storm being called to the stars actually is out of tune with continuity considering her communion with the planet. this spiritual connection she has to it one could make the case this calling would be ooc but that's why I mentioned before let's wait and see where it goes. the last time she left for the stars for a prolonged period the earth rejected her upon her return but perhaps her rapport with the planet is now established in such a way any prolonged period from one another wouldnt yield the same result.

She's been through a lot since the Brood saga, and I don't think she'll be in space nearly as long this time.

I said awhile back that I'm done commenting on T'Challa/Storm and how their relationship is being handled.
I'm proud of myself for resisting the urge to jump in.

I'm late to the time line party.
Tchalla went back in time at least eight years. By the time he contacted Earth, it seemed as though I say at least six months to a year have passed since he left based on what Ramonda said they had to do in his absence.
So if Corona had happened earlier, Marvel could have pulled the plug by having Tchalla contact himself and tell his younger self to not launch the ship, preventing the Empire from ever existing. Which also would have naturalized the second arc as Bast would have had no reason to leave.

Storm's Death duel did bring to mind her duel with Callisto when I read it. And I'm thinking now that it would have been really awesome if Cassara had referenced/homaged that Paul Smith fight, especially those four panels featuring the killing strike.

She's mostly [spoil]used as canon fodder to make Knull seem like a bigger threat, like 99% of the heroes involved[/spoil]. The X-Men will probably return later in the event though.

[spoil] my girl is standing on her own. Thor is mentioned when Xavier offers backup and Xavier specifically says "Surely a god would be helpful but may i suggest a goddess of the...." but before he can name what she is the goddess of she says shes concentrating. she has a big holding all the demons back at the end and knull is intrigued by her and says "hello little light" and a swarm decends on her.[/spoil]
tony so worried about our girl, Xavier HUGE as grin as he let them know about Storm. YAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! Our girl is standing in the MU with her own agency.
Oh and not so spoilery but when the list the only 3 weaknesses knull has storm is capable of all three.

you could say that, but compared to the others at least [spoil]Knull had to deal with her himself while the rest just got caught by Symbiotes, also she's the only one who was able to hold off the dragons since they didn't have the fire and sonic weakness.[/spoil]
