She wouldnt be having the conversation with T'Challa; she'd be having it with the Avengers. There were over 2 dozen other people in that room. I do think he would have vouched for her had she spoken
They do trust T'Challa more but why would Cap go to him first? He has no experience with the PF. It made sense that he went to Logan first and then opened it up discussion to ask others including Storm and she chose not to share.
How can T'Challa vouch for his Wife whom he clearly doesn't trust. It goes back to the Contingency Plans. If you have to make plans to stop your own wife..Clearly you don't trust her. So anything Storm says in the meeting would be met with Skeptisim. And again I doubt Captain America would have listen to Storm considering in the 1st issue he asked wolverine for help and information.
I didn't say T'Challa has knowledge or experience about the Phoenix Force. I was stating why would Storm talk to T'Challa about it when they both have persnal issues going on. Anyway, Storm is not at fault here for not choosing to speak up and leaving to warn Scott or ask Scott if he knew this was coming.
It's just like wolverine said in the first issue: "Everyone in the Mutant Community knows where it's going". With that statement No Wonder Why Storm left she felt Scott was up to something or Scott needed to be warned who knows. But she knew she needed to get to Utopia Immediately. It's not her Fault.

Storm is a fictional character. She doesnt choose anything but its canon for how she approached that. IA that the era was a mess. The one that followed was even worse for her. Its too bad that it took Dawn of X for there to actually feel like there's hope for her character in the X-books

It was about respect imo. Cap starts by saying avengers this is confidential info and when Storm realises what is being said rather than burn any immediate bridges i think she did what an honorable leader would have done and left a confidential briefing she already knew as soon as she heard Phoenix she knew where she wanted to be.

I couldn't agree more. I've disagreed many times with how the character was written vs. how I thought she'd respond. However, my opinion, (and that's all it is), doesn't negate what's cannon. Love or hate it, cannon is cannon. I can't pick and choose what I like and ignore the rest.

The ONLY time Storm had the Mowhawk in XAS was when her and Wolverine where seemingly a couple.
Other than that I don't remember a time where she had that hairstyle for the rest of the show.............

Umm, you might want to take a look at some of the reputable YouTubers who post on all things Kevin Feige and the MCU. There's tons of talk about updating the X-Men cartoon for DisneyPlus.

Check the Youtube link I shared in an earlier post. When update was mentioned, it had more to do with the animation style of the comic. I don't recall the podcaster mentioning anything specific about stories. The old X-Men cartoons are already on DisneyPlus.
I get sooooooo annoyed when people draw Storm without blue eyes.
Agree. I get annoyed when she's drawn with white eyes when not using her powers, as if the artist couldn't be bothered with giving her proper irises.

Oh shit, it's on. LOL. Looks great, especially the last panel. Yes, I love that all of the black/African characters have come to Wakanda's aid. Hudlin did something similar with a Hurricane Katrina issue, pulling together characters like BP, Cage, Blade, etc. to help the people of New Orleans.

Very true. First, they would have to get past the parents, then their aunt and Doral Milage. If someone can do all of that they are one bad mutha. T'Challa is such a respected person and leader. It could be argued that it would be unwise for anyone to allow Wakanda to fall, which is true, but those heroes, IMO, aren't there simply because of that. They are there because the Black Panther asked for their help. I love it when writers show a force of "minority" characters like this, coming together for something bigger than themselves.

It would be nice if X-Men other than Storm were shown. I can definitely see Bishop being involved in this battle. Do you know if there is a Krakoa law preventing X-Men from involving themselves in non-mutant affairs?

So, the other Orishas return and they are on the same page as the Hadari Yao. Hmm. Interesting. Storm doesn't look pleased. Whether she's pissed at them or something else, we'll have to see. Thoughts? I kinda want Goddess Storm to kick their asses for abandoning Earth Prime Wakanda.

yes, yes and yes!!!!! we need more of these depictions as it is very rare in the world of marvel comics. i'm so you used to reading the opposite where there is one or no black characters.

Where did you get that quote from?
I'm not sure what to make of that panel but I don't think she is angry at the Orishas. In fact, I think she may help them in working to do whatever they are trying to do in that panel. To me i think it's just her battle face but I would like her to get them and bast for their absence during all the ish Wakanda has gone through since Namor flooded Wakanda.

The quote came from Coates' post about this issue. There were four images he shared. The third one is the one with Storm and the Orishas. I think she will fight along side them but probably not before giving them a piece of her mind. I also don't know what in the world is going on in the panels above Storm. Hopefully, there will be dialogue to explain what they are doing.
