If I say it once I will say it again, if the xoffices wanted her to have a solo she would. She doesn't have one because the xoffices are not interested in giving her one. If a character like Moon Girl can have a long run there is no reason storm doesn't deserve one. That blame lies with the xoffices.

Amen to this! And that's the point I was making. If at the peak of Storm's popularity they didn't invest in giving her a solo, it set the precedent for them ignoring her now. It has nothing to do with proving she can sell. It has everything to do with them simply not being interested. I mean Storm has a long lasting name and presence, so I am not sure why with proper care and promotion it's so hard to fathom that she could be a huge enduring seller on her own.

She was given a solo in 2014 that for whatever inhouse?/sales? reasons turned into an LS.

Not sure what they can do with Storm really. It seems that everything with her has been done before. I like that she has a place on the quiet council because thats a respect to her character, but I need to see more to that. She seems to be the peas or potatoes to another character's steak role. I need Storm to be the Steak.

Not sure. Maybe through logan or Tchalla but that's what make the pairing so great.
They get to genuinely build their dynamic.
They're two very strong woman. Different in ways that matter and I feel would butt heads, because they're both the same in some ways.

Storm looking to retrieve a abducted Mutants.
Electra is there to assassinate the kidnapper or& the kidnapper.( Dealer choice) conflict of interest, up the scale with a double cross and ect...

people have all types of reasons for discrediting her.to me their reasons don't matter. the only ones who do matters are those at the xoffices who can decide on giving her one at the xoffices. and we know they don't want hr to have one. Coates wanted to write her one way back in 2017 and jdw response was that he is busy. I seriously think they think their readers are singletons.

the sales thread made me think if Storm does have a solo and though i hope coate is no where near it, it would be kind of hilarious if bp was on hold because his request was to break them up before he did a solo. I mean if thats still on the table. Could you imagine if he got the storm solo and never even mentioned his own previous story and instead went another route. maybe mutant belief. lol

Actually his own story did talk about more powerful beings and if powerful beings believed in more powerful beings etc.

And i'm also reminded how much i really could not stand Jason Aaron Storm. I mean maybe it's something about the traditional avenger writers that don't mesh with me but while his Jane was good Jason Aaron in my opinion went out of his way to try to tear Storm character down be it subsconscious or not. The "her powers don't work in hell." and "all elementals must submit to gaia" things particularly left bad tastes in my mouth because i don't think he would have done that to others.

I would love it. I don't recall them interacting on panel in 616. The only time I can recall is with Elektra as Havok's nanny to his son, and Bloodstorm kidnaps him for the Goblin Queen.

Ah nice! I totally forgot about Marvel Nemesis Imperfects. I like the limited series and think they should've made it canon. Yeah it would have to have a Wolverine or Yukio connection. Storm's only had 1 interaction with the hand during Latour's run (she murdered a bunch of Hand ninjas) so outside of some type of random team up the Logan/Yukio connection seems a more logical avenue.

Also that game was awesome. The gameplay and Storm was pretty Badass in it. One of my top VideoGame Storm.
I wouldn't mind Yukio also part of the group. She could be the bridge of the two ladies.

Won't spoil the X of Swords finale. I will say...Storm is pretty bad-ass in Excalibur and Destructions was a Larraz masterpiece. Looking forward to the fandoms reactions.

Absolutely amazing Masterpieces the last three issues. Excalibur was Storm's issue she was a [B][U]REAL BAD ASS[/U][/B] in there.

Storm did a fantastic Job in XoS Excalibur I’m not sure what the hell is going on, but the these X-Writers are putting some respect on her name. I’m shocked. I have no words.

And yes at the end of Destruction does foreshadow Storm going to Space. This was good.
