i'm cool with the Kickboxing but Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I don't see Storm as a gabbler type...maybe Jeet Kune Do. Lots of speed with some power there.
Now you got me wondering what fight style Storm practices.
We know she above your average Hand Ninja but below seasoned fighters like Wolverine and Captain America.

does anyone know when Black Panther # 23 will be released?

Butterflykyss will tell you that. Because I don’t know.
I predict Storm/xmen are going to reach out to Tchalla to help figure out how to rid her of the virus. There's drama along the way, with the culprits responsible for this fighting to ensure she succumbs. Nonetheless, as her imminent death looms, Tchalla tells her to survive this she has to finally accept her gift of godhead. She does this resulting in her transforming into a pure elemental being. This purges her of the virus and Ororo's new chapter begins as she now embraces something she had once long denied.

Sure, why not.

I always wondered where Storm ranks in terms of h2h fighting skills when compared to the other X-women. Like she's obvs better than Emma's bitch-ass, but I don't think she can take Psylocke in h2h. Not sure how she would do against Shadowcat.

I just reread the issue where Ororo channels the galactic core. I’d forgotten that she fried her skin off. She had best concentrate on honing her mystikal side.

Gambit, Psylocke(90's version), and Wolverine would probably win the majority against Storm in terms of hand to hand, but she could beat any of them in a great showing.
Kitty buffed with her ninja skills from Ogan would be in that same tier, but it's been so long since she has been used that way consistently that I think Ororo would still win the majority against her. In theory someone like X23 might be here too, but I've never really seen her fight without her claws(which I would count as 'powers'), so I'm not so sure. Honestly, given Ororo's natural dexterity and the fact that she's been trained since she was like 5, I think she still rates favorably against her(especially when you factor in reach).
None of the other X-Men really rank. You could get into people like Cable, Sage, Domino, Shatterstar, Nightcrawler, etc, but powerless Ororo has so many great showings(without guns or swords/knives), in terms of no powers hand to hand, I think she would still beat them in the majority. She's so adaptable, sneaky, and strategic.

She didn't fry her skin off. She's floating naked in space unharmed after she flares.

Besides, she was committing suicide for killing the Broodling, so it's not like she was trying to stick the landing.
I know later they show her body without skin regenerating in the Acanti, but my best guess for that is that after she passed out in space, before the Acanti got to her, that decompression/hard vacuum took their toll.

No, she clearly gave herself radiation poisoning. Heat is just radiation.

If she burned herself, her flesh would already be burned in those panels. She didn't burn herself.

As far as I understand it from the Chernobyl mini-series, radiation burns can take a bit of time to surface. Storm has fried herself deep beneath the epidermal layer and then the burn works its way out.

The radiation levels of a million stars and planets would have vaporized her body entirely if we're saying she has no elemental resistance. Normal humans exposed to minor radiation won't notice the detrimental effects(like cancer) for days/months/years/decades, depending on intensity. Neither of those extremes seem relevant to this feat.

I didn’t mean to catch you off balance. It merely seems to me that her body would naturally compensate for explosive decompression anyway, conscious or not. It’s merely weather. If she’s immune to a million stars and planets, or whatever, she should be able to handle the bends. Either way, one issue she has skin and the next it has been fried off.

I will agree that the art is inconsistent and that the story does not specify the nature of her injuries that necessitated her being regenerated in the Acanti. Beyond that we are merely left to speculate.

So what we are all saying is that these scans further prove Ororo Cosmic durability. Gotcha

Yep, Ororo can tank the power of a million suns and planets without singeing her hair. :o
