I think at 5'11", strong and thin build, Ororo should be somewhere at 145-150lbs. I'm 6', and I'm barely 160lbs. If Storm were supermodel skinny, she's be about 120lbs(like Anok Yai, who is 5'10"), so those old numbers weren't too far off.

Thor has a 7. And that because he can summon a God Blast. Storm can do a Godblast. It’s only fair that she gets a 7 too. Is Storm cosmic Level? That’s Debatable. Based on her HIGH END I can easily say yes. When it comes to durability I think we have to remember the damage that Storm has walked away from.
For Example: How many Regular Humans do you know can walk away from getting slammed 15ft in the air?

Actually, I do want to see her in The Avengers, team. Let's be honest, Storm is powerful enough to be part of Earth Mightiest Heroes, if she gets into the Avengers Team, this means that she will make an appearance in upcoming animations for the Avengers if her stay prolongs. The more teams she shares, the better, the higher the chance to see her, outside the comics. Including in gams.
Furthermore, she will get the chance to get her stats properly adjusted and raised, if she becomes part of the team since it seems like they do keep their stats updated. And she will finally meet with Thor, I do hope this time they make her justice and don't put Thor before her.

I agree to all of this. being an avenger if done properly would allow her to flex her muscles a lot more because the threats tend to be larger than those usually experienced by the xmen.

I completely agree with you, the threats the Avengers's face is usually on a much greater scale. Even though the Phoenix Saga brought the X-Men up to Galactic threat, which shortly after that switched to the Avengers's team. Kinda, annoying since the X-Men were meant to face the Galactic Threats, it seems like New X-Men series is filling the holes on that front. I just wish she joined on a Galactic Mission so we can see her true powers out in the space.

that is a good point and observation. the Phoenix was associated with the xmen and now it seems to be mainly an avengers thing. and yes to the galactic mission. the biggest concern I have there is the knowledge of her abilities. her powers in doscd is when she should be at her most power as she has access to so many energies. however if you have writers unaware of her powers you get things like this:

Though I was a fan you can tell it was alot to handle. No one was thinking big plans until it was too late.
Storm should of had a Solo around the time of Doom war , there fore seeing her adjusting and doing solo's and a few one offs with a few X-Men so when it came around it would have ended bring her side of the story to the larger fold.

She really should have had a solo after winning that fan voted crossover when she defeated WW but I see your point. People like to use Hudlin including Storm in BP as a reason she as a character did not thrive but if the xoffices wanted to use her they would have. They didnt promote her I believe primarily because the simply didnt like writing the character. The xoffices at that time were obsessed with Cyclops and the White Queen. Most of the stories centered around their vision of mutantkind. When she did appear,
she did as a support to them (I would never thought Ororo would be regulated to a sidekick kissing up to Emma frost of all characters in an xbook). Moreover, how could Wolverine be all over the place but somehow only Ororo could appear in the BP books? Her demise in the books started as soon as Claremont stopped writing her and Lobdell too over and she never truly recovered:

I was about to tell you to watch the trailer, but you should really watch it more closely. Storm appears in that Trailer, so she will be part of the Empyre Avengers storyline at one point but from the way they showed her, most likely will be miniature participation. Let's hope for something big.

I'm not sure if that is an xmen tie -in or if that is an avengers book she will appear in but I'm glad to see she is in it in some capacity. Im in agreement. Anyway you look at it Storm being taken out of the X-men line and playing supporting to Tchalla was a downgrade. There is no way around that. It will only work if she has her own book while he has his or she is prominent in the x-men. And yes the argument could be made she wasn't written well at the time but they still took more than they gave.

I dont recall their writings of her do you know any particular issues they made have written her so I cam give a fair assessment?
