He is the only one who can do the ponytail justice. I'm ready for Storm to ditch the ponytail tho. It was never a look that I ever truly cared for.
I don't like the 80s mohawk, but I found some of the more recent post 2012 looks decent. I do agree that it's kinda played out for her now tho.

I want this so bad.
So I've recently begun finally reading the Claremont issues of X-Men and I gotta stay storm really jumps off the page like IMMEDIATELY. Her intro has to be the best out of the all new all different team and she just immediately takes charge. Right now I'm at the point where Nightcrawler and Colossus are literally obsessed with her and can't seem to contain their boners.
I like how Claremont Easley made her Powerhouse I mean she's like he's usually the strongest member on their team. Capable of taking on Sentinels and the juggernaut single-handedly.

100% agree. she was the showstopper in many ways. she had full control of her powers and was immensely powerful. jean was given phoenix to put her on the level of storm and was the first Black character to lead a major superhero team. he definitely was the original storm fan as shown through his early work of storm and those stories were truly great to read as a storm fan.
oan: great news. there was a writer who didn't fancy storm and wanted to erase Coates work lobbying to write the next BP book. they will not be on the book so that is a win for those who appreciated what coates' did.

I just hope that future writers portray them being in a good place with one another. I was not a fan of the Marauder's issue were Storm had to get her sword from Wakanda and I think things between Storm and T'Challa may get worse before they get better.
I don't think future writers will even acknowledge their current "estranged" status. Unless Wakanda and Krakoa go to war or some such rubbish.
With Storm going off into space and basically creating her own path, her romantic relationship with T'Challa really doesn't need to be a thing, because at this point in her story it lacks relevance. That may change but...not anytime soon.
