That's why I said [B]well [/B]into his 40's. He's already 42. They are only just beginning to write the script for BP2, probably won't be shot until next year, come out the year after that. So, BP1 2018, BP2 2022, BP3 2026? By then Chadwick is 48. Meanwhile, the first X-Men movie is probably not coming at the earliest until 2024/2025, and they could run for 10-15 years given how long the Infinity Saga took. There's no way they marry Ororo off before they even get the X-Men going. It wouldn't even surprise me if they take T'Challa off the board at some point and make Shuri BP.

Base Storm- we all know what she is capable of, but I’d like for it to go a bit further. Like Creating a Cosmic ThunderStorm or Radiation Manipulation.

Goddess Storm- Id like for her to have some form of Cosmic Awareness, with her mind in that State is like her to sense everything. And if she does use her powers it should be in a way that’s beneficial to her team and destructive to her enemies. .

cosmic storm and radiation are all things she should be able to do as a mutant. we need to finally see how her abilities as a mutant differ from that of a goddess. right now all we know for certain is that she can stop unnatural weather, defeat adversary, and rests about it. but seeing her meditate in that manner makes me think it will be more than a weather display.

I'll be happy if she does anything related to cosmic weather, such an embarrissingly underdeveloped branch of her power.

I was rereading the FF run with her and BP, and she kinda made a small star that held Silver Surfer for like, several minutes(long enough for Epoch to introduce that Gravity kid). It was a patch of hydrogen that she ignited with lightning, which is essentially what a star is, more or less.

If the preview panels are in order, the segue from a focused Storm to the symbiote talking about the heat he feels but, interestingly, Kilmonger doesn't, the implication is that Storm is causing the heat. I know you don't care for Coates but I do think, out of the current people who writes her, he's written the best depiction of the character. He has also done it consistently. I don’t Hate Coates I think he’s just boring. BUT I do acknowledge that he writes Storm good. But I also believe that Hickman, Duggan as of now these 3 People seem to know how to write Storm. And I’m very impressed. Although, each person has their flaws, but from what I have seen: Coates, Duggan, Hickman can WRITE STORM.

I agree about the exposure. That’s why I am thankful for what we get with Storm. This woman is slowly appearing everywhere and I am happy. It does Suck to be a Fan of another mutant that is not remotely important. So, I’m happy. But yes Wednesday is going to be a HUGE ARGUMENT of Storm in Black Panther. What happened to Storm in Giant Size and if Storm is going to Dr.Doom in X-Men vs FF.

Oh, not me, BK. I don't dislike Coates. I was saying that Stormphoenix doesn't really care for him. Overall, he's fine. Most of all, I like the way he writes Ororo. I think he's done a great job with her. In fairness, probably a better job than he's done with T'Challa. i think bp is in a current awkward moment where the characther has become an A list, so the demand is higher and his corner of the universe is growing, so a lot seems shoved into his solo title

Eh. I think Coates just isn't that good at writing comics. I agree that his Storm is better than whatever else he's writing in that book, but I just don't think he understands the comics market, the comic reader, the comic book medium all that well. But because he is a respected author in other mediums, and the first issue of his book did so well, I guess they're letting him finish, but the last issue of BP I have data for (BP #20)was not even on the top 100, it was 132 in units, barely selling more than 15k, down from 253k, the best selling book of 2016 (the year he debuted in the MCU in CA:Civil War).

I 100% agree with this assessment. I've read his other works and I enjoyed them. I just find his comics boring. He has written some nice Storm moments, and I appreciate that. Overall though, he hasn't made Blank Panther a must read comic for me, and in the past it was.
