I have this trading card. The recoloring is pretty cool but they aren't always. The person didn't go overboard with the gradients. Storm is so beautiful and cool looking. :o

While I always loved Jim Lee's card set, I never like the way he draw feet. lol

There have been a few attempts at a Storm doll. The first was in the mid to late 90's when Toybiz put out a Storm fashion doll. She came wearing her Jim Lee uniform and had a second, "night out" outfit. Later, a "collector" version was released of Punk Storm.

After that, late 90's came a 9" line called Marvel Famous Covers. Storm was (technically) the first official female release (Aunt May came first but she was an exclusive. However, both figures share the same body mold) and came in her first appearance outfit. When the first X-Men movie came out, she was released in a boxset with that woman and in her Jim Lee costume.
oooh thanks for sharing. I've never seen these before.

once ororo becomes the chosen of oshtur it will be time to cleanse the world of chtonic corrupted witches, THEN she will pay
I lean towards Storm action figures with some action as opposed to dolls for new/young fans. Ororo is an active Goddess no?
Robot Fighter Storm comes with 2 different haircut options t’boot. Best of both worlds!

And then there’s Weather Fury Storm from the Water Wars line. It’s a squirt gun essentially. Yay!

Wow, I especially like the punk one. Its too bad Toybiz went out of business. These are real well made.

That top look always drove me crazy because I felt it was trying to incorporate too many different styles and the metal wrist and heel pieces were just odd to me but they don't seem to be present in this. That hair--! I know its a fave but I don't like overly stylized hair / clothing. I think its the Virgo rising in me.

I had the top action figure growing up and it was always a favorite of mine. I also remember contemplating buying the bottom action figure while in KB Toys but I ended up never getting it.
