Is there any hint of JSA heavy hitters like Mordru, Ultra Humanite, Johnny Sorrow or Per Degaton showing up?
I think Ultra Humanite was hinted at in episode 2 (the large shadowy beast in the cage).
And add me as a 3rd vote for finding this show to be an absolute joy. Brec Bassinger and Luke Wilson's portrayals are dynamite, and I love love love that it's leaning so hard into JSA lore.
(Real JSA lore, not JSA-lite like we got in Legends of Tommorrow).

Pretty sure that was Solomon Grundy.

Almost certain, since Grundy was in the pilot.
Episode 2 was solid. Nice to see that egotistical Brain Wave get knocked on his ass by Courtney. Even his son is terrified of him. Poor Pat. Sidekick once again. He’ll be kicking some serious butt down the road. Who will be the next JSA recruit?
Well, new Dr. Midnite, Wildcat, and Hourman of course.

Yeah, it was Grundy.

Does this show take place on Earth 2? Should Courtney, and the Knight family, be based on the post Doomsday Clock Earth-2?

The show takes place on Earth 2.

The CW telecast tonight seemed very choppy. Did anyone who watch both fill us CW people in on if we missed anything important that was cutout ?

Finally got around to watching episode 3- it was another great one!

When Pat tells Courtney that every item in there was dangerous, I really wanted to believe it, but come on. Jay's hat is just a hat. Upside down it's a saucer. Maybe in Jay or Odd Job's hands it's a weapon, but otherwise it's a hat you can feed a cat out of. :p
Really loving the series thus far. It strikes a great tone for a show based on some of DC's brighter characters.

Actually, I don't think it does. It certainly doesn't if the old Arrowverse numbering is intact, IIRC they DID give it a number, but it was far from 2.

No, it doesn't. Which is good in a way; since this obviously is NOT the comic book version of the JSA.

Does the owl bother anyone else?:p I mean, ten years in that place without food, water, or a way out? No one to pet the very cute bird? Does the bird in fact have powers? Something Pat said suggests that...
As others have said, another good episode. Nice to flesh out the villains a bit.
