That's not an announcement from Marvel. That's Bleeding Cool just reporting what Comixology has listed. According to Newsarama, Marvel is NOT going to digitally release Doctor Aphra on Wednesday and said the Comixology list wasn't accurate.

That was on March 26.
ah ok, thought that was a definite list

Not that I know of. But that Newsarama article was before DC made their announcement. Please let us know if you hear something from Marvel itself.

I'd be very surprised if they don't go the same route.

Just watch Wednesday come and Marvel quietly drop some of their titles digitally without even telling anyone. LOL

Marvel's response: We have a cunning plan. But we aren't going to tell you what it is. Yet.
Come on guys. Tomorrow is WEDNESDAY.
From Bleeding Cool.
A note shared by Diamond Comic Distributors to comic book retailers reads "There are no Marvel items on the March 30 Final Order Cut-off (FOC) list this week. All items that were previously on that list have been rolled forward to have an FOC of April 6 for the time being. As soon as Marvel and Diamond have the proper knowledge on what the future likely holds during these trying times of a Global Pandemic, Marvel will update the FOC dates and On Sale Dates. Marvel assures you there is a larger scale plan being worked on for the upcoming shipping schedule and thanks you for your patience."
Meanwhile, Dynamite has no problem delivering their clear plan:
DYNAMITE Not Releasing Digitally During Diamond's Print Distribution Stoppage
The comics community must move forward united, and we feel it is best that retailers and fans across channels not be served unfairly in this complicated moment, to create 'haves' and 'have-nots.' We are hoping to resume getting our great comics to all our partners and fans as soon as possible.... Every sale of a new periodical or collection taken out of the retailer's hands is one more blow to them, and we want all retailers to survive this pandemic to continue to be there for all fans
As of right now Marvel titles are still listed.
Other publishers that have stated they will not release digital versions are reflected on that list. Even Star Wars Doctor Aphra is still there. So if Marvel is not releasing digital they have not even told Comixology yet.

I doubt they would be the only ones.
Someone is NOT to miss the chance to toss out new stuff while the big players are in flux.
Especially if they have old stuff that was not digital in the first place.

Watch them be worse than DC and not even allow returnability.

Of course they would. Can't sell a bunch of variant covers on digital.
