I saw Kellyanne's lawyer husband on CNN yesterday, and he made a good point: This is the most likely thing to put Trump in jail, because it is such a simple case and so clearcut. It's not: did he influence people to commit crimes, was there dereliction of duty, did he make contradictory statements about the value of real estate?
This is: He took top secret documents. He did not give all of them back when he was caught. Lock him up.
I'll point out that another difference is that Clinton was targeted by an obsessed investigator who wasn't going to stop until he found something, anything, no matter how far outside his initial reason for investigating to begin with. The start of it all was a bad real estate deal where most people, including the Clintons, lost money. When that didn't pan out, they expanded.
Ken Starr really set the tone for Republicans, then and now.
Go after the Democrats for any imagined crime, while ignoring any others that you see that might reflect on your party.

Yeah, any attempt to make this about 'the democrats setting a standard' is just a GOP leaners effort to excuse what your own party does and what its voters vote for, and to excuse both of those things.

I live right at the state border of Florida and Alabama, so sadly have to witness the ads for two states' worth or awful conservatives. But Gaetz especially offends me everytime his commercials pop up.

A new survey has revealed that teachers are being instructed not to talk about race or racism in school.
The results from a survey that included nearly 2,400 K-12 teachers and about 1,500 principals show one in four teachers are reportedly being told not to talk about race, racial bias, and racism as a whole during their class sessions, NBC News reports.
The survey, which the Rand Corp. conducted, also showed that one in four social studies and English teachers and one in four principals are being harassed about policies on race-related subjects being included in school curriculums.
“I have had parents come in and say, ‘If this is what you’re going to teach, my student doesn’t need to know about this,'” said an unidentified teacher who participated in the survey, NBC News reports.
On top of those findings, the survey reports that more than half of all teachers and principals aren’t here for an education on race being limited or removed, NBC News reports.
Some very fragile white folks out there.

Seems like that's timed pretty conveniently doesn't it? Like, if it was something that he's felt so strongly about for so long why didn't he bring it up before? No way it's related to what's going on with President Trump.
Has even a single Republican called on that mob to stand down, or are they choosing to be complicit?
Looks like they're not only refusing to call on them to stand down, but continuing to encourage them and almost hoping they escalate from just screaming and waving their poorly made signs and inaccurate Confederate flags.

Every single person considering themselves a "moderate Republican" or a "never Trumper conservative" needs to consider what they are doing by staying affiliated with the party of stochastic terrorism.

Cubans in Florida have "escaped socialism". Ditto for Venezuelans in Spain and others.

The only big government Rand Paul wants government oversight on is inside a woman's body, and inside LGBTQ people's bedrooms.
And he gets even more Libertarian-wing to eliminate laws that he and his party break, as they're actively breaking them.

The protest of 25 people ended at Noon yesterday, and was described as lawful by an FBI spokesman.

The response to this here seems to be as if it's still ongoing. It lasted for a few hours, and then they went home.

I ... don't think any of us specifically think this instance is still going, Mets. Meal Team Six had other places to be.
