I liked the Maximum Carnage event over 25 years ago.
A killer supervillain going on a killing bender and being joined by other killers. Just endlessly slaughtering everyone they come across just for the sake of it.
It just hits too close to home, that that’s what bad people actually gifted with powers would do, rather than try to take over the world.

Yeah, taking over the world is a lot of work. Don't know why anyone would actually bother.
Marvel should buy Image comics and use The Walking Dead.

The great thing about Image is all the properties are creator-owned and the creators get a say in how their properties are used, so this would only be a good idea if that is maintained. And even then, considering it was marvel's policies and business practices that caused Image to be created, I can't see anyone at Image wanting to sell to Marvel.
In regards to the Walking Dead, for this to work well, Marvel would have to go through Kirkman for every decision and I can't see them wanting to do that.
