I doubt he'd want to. I mean his writing for WW speaks for itself. Waid is also unlikely. Out of the A-listers I think Snyder is the only one who expressed an interest in writing her.
Si Spurrier would be neat. I assume Thompson will write something WW-related someday but after turning Diana and the Amazons into the job squad for Murder Quinn, I'd have my reservations.
DeConnick would be cool but I don't want anything that would distract from more Historia.
Well, then the possibility of it being written by Tom Taylor isn't 0.
I doubt he'd be interested. Chances are the closest there'd ever be to a Taylor written WW thing would be if he did a Donna Troy thing. Since Donna's more straightforward bland nature makes her more suited to his writing style, like Dick.
Still no idea what to expect from this
Yeah Al ewing would be insanely good, but I doubt it will happen
A lot of people are hoping for a female writer which would be nice. But honestly how many female writers are considered A-list? Just Gail Simone if even she is? I like Thompson (usually) and DeConnick, but they aren't considered A-list. Obviously there is a talk about female writers and the changes they get.
Just give me a good creative team.
It really depends on who you consider A-list. To me Spurrier and Ram aren't A-listers either.

I agree, but I think a case for Ram could be made since he has written Detective for such a long time and wrote Venom.
I'd like to see PKJ. Top notch world building and his work on other titles has been awesome.
Now this is a look I wanna see again:

The fast food uniform? That can get kept in the closet.

Snyder is also a possibility (which Im not a huge fan of, even if he gave some cool feats to her at Death Metal) but he's most 100% possibly going to write one or all the Batman titles.
in fact, Im starting to suspect this will be a new excuse to publish more batman titles, and that there won't be any non-batfam character on this at all.
Problem with the concept of A-List writer is that, the people that Marvel & DC tend to nurture or groom into A-listhood are usually dudes, and usually the type of dudes that give zero effs about Wonder Woman or any female character that is not a "kill-happy badass chick" cliche.

I feel like PKJ is the antithesis of all of this and would do a really good job with Diana. He’s done justice to every title he’s written and can excel in and across any genre.
Renae De Liz's instagram says she has an unannounced DC title, possibly Absolute Wonder Woman?

Is that a real WW title that has been hinted at?

Don't
Don't do that
Don't give me hope

I don’t see him doing Batman again. With the New 52 he already did a long run with a rebooted Batman that he got to revamp as he wanted. He also already did JL, which leaves either Superman or Wonder Woman. Of the two I figure he’s probably writing Superman.
Is that a real WW title that has been hinted at?
Nothing official yet but Bleeding Cool leaked that DC is doing their own “Ultimate Universe” called “Absolute Comics” and an Absolute WW book is likely. I’ve seen some whispers that Al Ewing will write WW but nothing official yet.

the man doesnt grow tired of doing 2921 Batman titles, surely he'd believe himself ready to go for 2922 or 2939 for the matter. I just can't see Absolute DC as nothing but another excuse to saturate the market with exclusively batman titles, seeing how Black Label and Elseworlds are already turning into that.

Well, that's MUCH better, but where did you find this rumour? Wouldn't say No to an Inmortal Wonder Woman run
If it's true that it's supposed to be A-list creators, then Snyder and Ewing are the most likely candidates, I think. Could be Aaron too, but I don't want him anywhere near WW.
Goody...Diana losing her powers in Absolute Power gives an excuse for her to wear hideous armor and wield a generic sword and shield.

Sure can't wait to see how horribly Waid writes her for this waste of time.

Reddit, but nothing I’d take as Gospel just yet. It’s merely whispers. My guess though is it will be Snyder on Superman, Ewing on WW, and Aaron on Batman. Lemire also teased some Flash on his Instagram so I think he’ll do that book.

Yeah I liked Mora on Klaus but I've never gotten what makes people go gaga over him. At least the JLD's back, eh?
Though Zatanna is in the Superman book. :(

Is that a V on her chest?
And writers like to forget the magical items she has at her disposal should she lose her powers.
Plus....its just so generic.

This looks 10X better than the David Finch suit. Aesthetically I think it's fine, not exciting, but fine for what's probably a one-time alt suit and something that's probably makeshift.

It doesn't look like she has the lasso.
Not referring to this forum, but the amount of fans who want the classic suit back would be funny were it not so terrifying.
Why terrifying? The classic suit is classic.

The intersection between all the classic costume fans and people who dont know its only from 1982 (boots) making not classic and not her longest running suit is also terrifying

I don't think that Finch's design is very popular..?

That just goes to show how popular and accepted the Battler Skirt has been.

I don't particularly care for the George Perez suit, nor do I particualrly care for the current suit, but her current suit isn't modest by any means.
The most significant development is that for the most part, people aren't trying to draw her as a sexual figure, and it has nothing to do with the suit

It's a funny thing, there was a time period where it was seen as progressive to draw women in things that allowed them to be free to dress how they wanted, and not be forced to comply with prudish ideas about "proper" attire...
I didn't say her suit should be more modest. I just said that neither the Perez suit nor the current suit is modest.
So both the current suit and the 70s suit are equally revealing regardless of how you feel about her
By "modest" clothing standards....she was only modest twice in her history. Maybe really only once. Which would be the Finch costume.
In general, being modestly dressed means being covered from waist to knees for men,
and having the arms, legs, back and chest covered for women. Most patients from ethnic
groups will feel considerably more relaxed if they are able to remain covered up.
Damn.
I'm always up for a Wonder Woman costume that doesn't look like a red and yellow bustier top and star spangled panties, but that...thing is awful.

The 2010 and 1994 looks feel more like "Wonder Girl" than WW to me.
The last one... yeah.. that'a good "combat" look for WW

Saw where the definition of modestly dressed came from and disagree with it, I wouldn't call a shirtless man modest. If his chest is out his musculature (or lack thereof) is on display for all to see.
It amazes me how people became Wonder Woman fans despite a disdain for her classic swimsuit costume. She's meant to be provocative, she's meant to challenge old ideas and ways of thinking.
