I've been thinking about how a great storyline that could emphasize how important she could be to the DCU would be if one of the intergalactic villains was taken to Paradise Island to be reformed.
What villains from other franchises do you think DC could afford to reform through Wonder Woman?
Well, obviously a villain that has history with her already. DC and WB. :p
Outside of that, maybe mongul.

She's not a space villain like I wanted, but I think a story about Poison Ivy coming to Paradise Islansd to be reformed could work so well. Maybe Faora or the Star Sapphires too

I think the Star Sapphire (as the golden age character, a character who was deemed "unworthy" of becoming the queen of the amazon-like Zamarons, and who wanted to destroy them by manipulating Carol Ferris) has thematic analogies with Themyscyran amazons that could work narratively. So I vote for the Star Sapphire (if we are going to use a non-WW villain).
If we are using a bad entity associated with Diana, then I want either the Empress of the Silver Snake or the Adjudicator. :)

I was thinking in Poison Ivy because of a story of her in Themyscira, she was chosen by Gaea to protect her. She teams up with Diana and Hyppolita and in the end they invite her to stay.
-
Wait, why is Wonder Woman trending? Not that I mind regardless :p
Also, Mongul would be cool.
Ivy has been pretty sympathetic/anti-heroine for a while now so I don't know how much she needs to be "reformed". I agree there might be something to mine out of Ivy's connection to the Green and Diana's to Gaea. But, in that case, I'd rather a storyline with Swamp Thing. Her friendship with Alec is one the coolest relationship developments for Diana in a long time. I know Alec is not the current Swamp Thing, but I can imagine Diana seeking him out when she gets back to Earth-0 to get to know the new guy and pass on some guidance or past experiences she shared with Holland.

I think it's because Gail Simone did a #3FaveDCWomen in Twitter.

Would probably be funnier with accompanying fan-art though.

Anyone want to start a betting pool for this series?
- Get jobbed out to one Taylor's favs (Supes, Bats, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Poochie Quinn)?
- Talking about Superman and/or Batman are the greatest, most awesome things to ever set foot on Earth?
- Havin a crush on Superman and/or Batman?
- The phrase "warrior goddess", "warrior born" being in the narration or dialogue used when she appears?

I'm confidently drunk with this game of bingo already.

The writer is a major turn off, but the concept itself is interesting. Now I wonder how would her villains look like in a medieval setting? Not that I expect any of them to show up :p

Oh, lord...so this is the Taylor thing?
Did anyone tell him he could just not include Wonder Woman? I know we need to pretend the "trinity" is a thing, but they're not joined at the hip. She isn't even referenced in the title. I'm willing to bet the story would not suffer in the slightest if she wasn't involved.
I do wonder how many writers shoe-horn Diana into stories (badly) because editorial/marketing tells them to, and how many are just oblivious to how awfully they write her.

Considering it’s supposed to be a fantasy D&D thing, he probably figured he had to include WW an the Amazon’s.
Hmmm, hope they’re not written as one-note barbarians.

I'm actually wondering now where Taylor lands on this.
His biggest stories thus far, Injustice & DCeased, were both big 'entire DC Universe' stories, so Wonder Woman kind of had to be included. But this stupid medieval story he's doing...unless editorial made him include Diana, why bother? If you want to make you high-fantasy Superman/Batman story, just do it. Diana doesn't need to be involved.
Or does Taylor genuinely think he's doing her justice? I saw on Twitter he actually tried to defend the one-punch death Diana got in DCeased as a noble and heroic sacrifice on her part, which...

I don't know. If I was a comic writer with the kind of sway to do whatever kind of story I want--and I don't see why Taylor wouldn't have that kind of control over his own Elseworlds story--I would just not include characters I don't like. Don't mention them. Don't even acknowledge them if you no one's forcing you to.
Whatever one's feelings about Grant Morrison's Earth One books, I at least appreciate they came about because Grant admitted they did Diana wrong in Final Crisis and wanted to do better. That's a helluva a lot more than most writers who keep inflicting themselves on Wonder Woman and either don't realize they suck at it, or do know it and just don't care.

What is so heroic about getting one shotted by Superman. How did she make a difference there?

She cut off his arm.... but didn't go for the head :p she went for the heart, another insta-kill move but who am I to say. SR and CBR will make click bait articles about it because of END GAME. The other annoying thing is that the comic made note that its a magic sword infused with Kryptonite welded by "the greatest warrior in DC Comics/The Amazon Goddess" and she also had help so.... all in all pretty bad.

So come November we'll have 5 Wonder family books (Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman: Black and Gold, Wonder Woman: Evolution, Wonder Girl, Nubia and the Amazons) plus the various appearances in team books...pretty good year for WW overall I'd say.
