Tommy Dreamer won the Digital Media championship from Impact. As a long time Dreamer fan who always loved how Tommy just loved working and didn't want to be a champion....I like this.
If no one remembers Tommy had an attitude where he wanted to put new heels over and be the guy under the main event guy in ECW. That he never wanted to be #1. Its this that made me like Dreamer in ECW. When I list favorite wrestlers its because of the toll it took on him doing hardcore for years in ECW and the fact he didn't want to put himself on top.
Huh? Apart from Tyrus being on fox with he's championship he's run had nothing to do with MAGA or trump he's political beliefs were not involved in story or In fudes as far as I'm aware if they were it wasn't much.
The "own the libs", "we ain't a cancel culture" promos and some very racially dated booking ideas to name a few. The talking points ooze in and are distracting to me. Corgan likes to throw charged jabs around and the Nashville crowd eats it up.
Vince's dumb political bits (like the Obama/Hillary skit) are just as annoying to me.
I get annoyed with overt politics in my entertainment when I'm not seeking it out, whether I agree or disagree with the stance.
Again personal preference. There's plenty of good wrestling out right now. Also, pretty much everyone I enjoyed is gone (like Rosa and Aldis).
Tyrus was a good champion I may disagree with he's political beliefs but I like him as a wrestler.
I can be unmoored about his run but what Corgan did to Aldis sours it for me.
i dont remember him have any particularly good match. or any at all. i remember his reign more for him showing up on fox news than actually doing anything with it. it still blows my mind that billy pumpkins put the belt on him rather than matt cardona.
He was definitely a celebrity run of sorts. I was initially behind it because of his strong TV title run that had some great matches. But l soured on it in more ways then one with lack of really anything memorable happening match wise be another reason.

Tyrus by the last few years I believe had knee and back issues. So he was very limited on what he could do anymore.

That's been an issue back to his TV title run FWIW. It only really showed up as a ring work issue in his last 2 matches or so, and only really noticeable if you knew about it beforehand. I think it was more about match structures and opponents IMHO.

LJ Cleary signed with NOAH the other day.
He is an Irish grappler that has been working away on the UK Indie scene nonstop ... RevPro, OTT Belfast, ICW, FFPW, Germany, etc.
He's good, incredibly consistent and happy to see he'll be out in the wider world more now. Everyone loves him, no backstage issues. He's kind of like if HBK and Jannetty had a baby, visually, personality, and ring work wise.
And man, NOAH is sure building a large euro indie stable.

He didn't have any 5 star matchs but they were good/ok like
Tyrus vs Murdoch Tyrus vs Murdoch vs Cardona or Tyrus vs ec3

that doesn't make me want to watch his matches. honestly, i'm more interested in who he was fighting rather than he himself.

The man was once the Funkasaurus lol...
In a nice note on how good people can still be. Mike Rotunda claims in a tweet that the Rock has paid for the families groceries the past week or 2.

I'm not really trying to get you to watch I was just saying NWA has good stuff and he had a pretty good run as NWA champion NWA isn't for everyone and that's ok for me everything doesn't have to be the best thing ever to injoy it.

So who do you guys think should challenge EC3 for the championship? My picks would be Chris Masters Murdoch Max The Impaler and Odinson.

Bring in Davey Richards. Let him have a program with EC3.

So in an interview that was a few days ago...D-Von revealed how bad the locker room was in WWE back in late 90s. D-Von claims a guy (never mentions who) told him how he didn't like him because he was black.
D-Von claims him , Bubba , Tommy Dreamer , Spike and Paul Heyman were there when this guy said it. As he claims he doesn't care for this dude and he's happy how him and Bubba are considered the past eras greatest tag team.

He and Bubba said it was an executive.
That makes it a short list.
