Well things got dark and Wanda started to remind me of Disassembled Wanda in the latest episode
-
Wanda's also giving off some vibes of the role of Virginia from the Vision in this. But it's all likely for a later plot twist. Because they stated that they are doing the same things as those stories exactly.
I mean, I think we're all really anxious because a lot of people are assuming Wanda is the villain and that's, at this point, sort of how the show is actually presenting it and people assume a lot from just cursory knowledge of what happened to her in the comics.
But you don't give a new Superhero costume to a villain.
The average or more casual fan would fall for bait and switch plots. But a majority of Wanda fans would not, How much overlap and will it keep interests up? I'm loving it, but do hope that Wanda is the hero. What if her actions cause the situation that occurs in the end and moves into Dr. Strange 2
and that is some greater evil, Nightmare or whoever, is released. Perhaps that is also 'behind'. This doesn't mean Wanda is a villain but that her powers have caused great interest beyond the normal realms.
It is important that Wanda not become posssessed etc, or nuts. of course. But the MCU usually has things move to other things so I'm thinking we'll find out soon!
I am afraid that's true. Just look at the costumes of Hela in "Thor: Ragnarok" or Mysterio in "Spider-Man: Far From Home". I rather doubt that's what the producers of WandaVision are going for, but one can't rule it out, it could be as a "worst case szenario".
Btw, Darcy will get a costume, I am really exited what's that all about.
I get this worry about our Wanda, while their are by FAR more stories of our Wanda as a hero, their are those 1-2 darker stories we get worried about and it makes sense why many fans would be, we can never know fully, nothing is certain in life.
BUT, I still find this worry and caution about our Wanda not as something to seem down about, but as a showing of true love and care for her. We want the greatest and best for her and we care to see the fully shown in the show, that is a Major good thing to see such love and support for our Wanda, it is something to take great pride in! :)
I know it stinks that it seems as Gurkle and others have said so caring so well that we seem to have to play on a field of the show just doing Wanda good and keep her a hero, that we have to worry at that being an expectation alone.
But still most heroes have some points in their comic careers of the same dark stories and struggles as well. I was worried how Civil War 2016 would turnout for Captain American and Iron Man and I am sure many other fans where concerned too for the same justifications as us. But that turned out well and enhanced their story better compared to the comics.
Their are other examples, but the point is we are not alone in this care they will do heroic good to our favorite, it comes with the complex history that is comics and we hope for the best and so far usually the MCU delivers on such.
Yea we are at the darkest elements right now in the show likely, we had to expect that to come sooner or later. But this is by what we have learned from the showrunners and what Fiege likely wants to do with Wanda to be positive in the end and with cautious optimism we should try to do that as well.
I am for stories that go hard for the hero to go threw a hard baptism of blood and struggle because the end payoffs for the hero are that much greater and that much more memorable that you connect to them far great then those that seem to get things easy.
We should and have good reasons and hope for the best always and we need to help guide ourselves, each other and especially others outside of the fandom to the true Heroic character that is Wanda and while yea bad things may happen and if so we cross that Bridge only when we need to, we Stay Cautiously Optimistic that the best and most definitive heroics are to come in the creation of The Scarlet Witch for the MCU will come in this show! :)
Peace, Honor and Love to you All. :)

A proper MCU poster...now I'm imagining a "final" one with the new Scarlet Witch costume.

I hope when this is all done someone goes back and edits the show into a 2 hour film. It would be interesting to see what gets cut out and how the scenes are placed

Possessed depends on how it's handled. If she still fights her way out of it like when Morgan le Fey took hold of her, that's fine.
Also, this is already miles better that AD/HoM because Wanda is an active player and not a plot device.

It looks like we will see Wanda´s pov in "the office" chapter so yes the series is not forgetting to give her a voice in all this, we are just in the "is she or isn´t she the villain?" stage of the story but the actors and Feige have said they want to give a lot of twists to the story and to avoid the trope of the dangerous woman who has too much power. :)

I get the worry about Wanda being the big bad in this but the reveal being in episode 4 seems too early for that to be the only thing going on. I do think her emotions regarding Infinity War and the Snap aren’t helping, that’s a lot to go through and her arc in this seems to be heavily connected to that. While I know some might have issues with that, a character does have to go through some arc in a story for it to be worthy to tell, I think Wanda will come out on top of it compared to how she did in the comics. She might seem like she has broke right now but I think there is still room to go somewhere and have her process whatever is actually going on.

Oh for sure. I want it all myself. As a very long time reader of her, I wouldn't mind a touch of most things that have happened.
I never really believed that Wanda and Vision would ever be like they were before West Coast Avengers, but in the MCU that may be different.
Like other older Marvel romances, they never should have separated and ended their love.
