This is what we have been trying to recapture. This is the ideal. But for some reason no one realised the Vibranium mound that was struck. Nor what to do with it.

Seems plausible that it's Storm in BP2. We already have Namor, Brand, and Deadpool officially coming, introducing individual X-Men was bound to happen eventually.

I think had tchalla still been in the movie it would have been highly probable she appeared. however, seeing that isn't the case it just seems unlikely.

Yeah.
Also storm violated his trust in X of swords.I understand people being "Yaaaass queen" or whatever but that was way too far to not get a response.And then he just let's her walk no consequences.
Black panther will definitely even the score with Krakoa.

Personally i think all this has much to do about nothing. I expect every king to at slme point speak with storm, ihumans as well. It will probably be something like storm claimed hadari yao at the galatic meeting and as smart as tchalla is he is going to use that as leverage to get something from ororo. Maybe a place for some of the refugees from the intergalatic war. Either way amazing cover. Really looking forward to getting my eyes on sword.
Though if the writers do try and i guess go tit for tat imo it will make tchalla look bad when in the last bp run she just helped save wakanda several times, sword theft or not.

2)And Wakanda doesn't seem to have his back, I doubt this will be him negotiating or getting leverage for Wakanda.

Ehhhhh I dunno. We know the X-Men are happening. So it seems reasonable that they may start doing what they did with Young Avengers: introduce the members in other projects before bringing them all together.

I mean, Storm is a leader everyone looks up to. But I have a hard time thinking of her as a Regent/ruler of a whole planet and a race. Not because she wouldn’t qualify for that position and she is very competent at what she does (based on the writer), but I always had the impression that she walks among and with the people, not sitting on a throne.
Those throne people are either bad, mad, or power hungry.

Storm can be many things. Walk among people and walk among the stars. Besides, she's not "ruling" a planet (the Arakkii certainly don't recognise her as their queen)...Voice of Sol means she speaks for Sol in the Galactic Council not that she rules over all.

This is from Earth X back in the late 90's. Alex Ross designed the characters and helped with the story, but he only did the covers unfortunately. It was kind of Marvel's version of Kingdom Come; a dark alternative future. It spawned Universe X and Paradise X spin offs. Storm only has a minor role in Earth X, and Bloodstorm is featured in Paradise X, but it's an interesting story, that while not canon per se, has seemingly influenced a lot of 616 canon that came after.

If they're going to even the score then i say do it quickly and leave the situation behind.
I had enough of the love/feud and it isnt seeming to go anywhere productive.

thats exactly what I've been saying. after xos tchalla and Wakanda has every right to respond in kind towards the mutants. that marauders story didn't need to happen as it did but because the xoffices chose that im all for the BP offices returning the favor.

I think he might be trying to save an agent being targeted for assassination on Mars. He probably doesn’t want it coming out that he has spies among the mutants and with his spies everywhere else under attack he probably wants to protect the most high priority ones.
Gentle and Manifold are both close friends of his on that cover and I could see either one providing him info on the low about mutant activity. He comes to Mars under the pretext of diplomacy (refugees is a good idea or just general discussion about trade) while trying to prevent an attack that’ll reveal his spy network. At least that’s how it sounds, nothing too crazy like him needing some previously unheard of artifact and being on a tight schedule lol. Idk where the conflict would arise though maybe Wolverine gets all aggressive or Storm has T’Challa fight some of the Arakki to prove he’s worthy.
