yea I think this is fair now when I think about it. so much goes into what makes storms. when we think storm we think tornadoes and hurricane but we should also consider the building blocks of storms (thermodynamics, convection, em, pressure etc.) It does capture it all.

She could generate plasma to vaporize any steel around her and shower a crowd of demons with hot liquid iron rain, for example, since their magic is disrupted by Iron. Oh yh black holes generate space wind made of matter and energy. Infact said jets of wind are propelled at near the speed of light and are the brightest most energetic events in the known cosmos... They are known as quasars.

Space wind is energy currents.
I love this from the article it sums up and explains exactly why storm can manipulate ocean currents as easily as air currents, that's because 'wind' is simply energy moving in a current. When you understand wind like that creation of the nanobot wind storm starts to make sense. She simply used the nanobots as a medium for energy currents and shaped it to form a storm.

Oh also gravity directly affects weather on mars, it was gravity that created the giant sandstorm on arakko after the omega mutants teraformed it.
