I would say she would be written more classically. when she was dwpowered in her punk phase as you mentioned she was very much at ease with using her hunting knife to put the lessers in their place. it was with the soft reboot lobdell ushered in that we saw this storm that abhorred all forms of violence.

See, I was under the impression that her attitude against violence was due to her being almost raped as a child and she killed the bastard but it still scarred her. I didn't know it was because of Lobdell and his "writing".

she definitely took a stance against taking a life after she was nearly raped and killed him. it was why she struggled so hard with the brood egg/embryo that was fighting to take over her body prior to killing it with the galactic core feat. however, when she returned to earth and was rejected when she attempted to commune with it, she went through a transformative experience that changed her perspective on killing. we first saw it with her fight to the death battle with callisto. she even took it further when the crimson commando, super sabre, and stonewall when they were hunting her like a wild animal:

I loved the issue and I can't wait to see more. In a single issue Al has captured Storm's character or at least what I see as Storm's character.

We had to wait two months just for this… sigh. Maybe I’m just too impatient but they’re not giving us enough Storm.

I can't wait tbh Storm activated her godhead and fought a high-tier Hell Lord Adversary. Now she's probably facing off with another High Tier Hell Lord. We love consistency.

Indeed! LOVED today’s issue! I want her to put her vibranium blades over her fireplace and whip out some new mysterium blades, specially made for the Regent of Sol. This has me super intrigued as to what the mutants really have. Does Storm already know and is playing it close to the vest? Will expand on the whole issue later this evening.
