i'm curious to know what Ororo's role during INFERNO will be, i particularly wouldn't want her to be involved in that mess but since she is one of the members of quiet concil and regent of sol she will probably be at this event.
I’m hoping so too. I just hate that its running concurrently with Reign of X. I wouldn’t mind seeing her siding with Raven, partly because that’s a team up I’ve always been interested in, and I want to see her reaction when she learns the truth. And if she comes up with an alternative that changes the future but still retains Krakoa & PA for the mutants. Too much world buidlinf to lose. Dammit now I’m anxious.

I really don't think krakoa is going to go anywhere maybe shook badly but overall it would still be a thing if not at least replaced with something better.... Because the backlash from fans would be swift and unforgiving if mutants have to go back to that school and be at the mercy of humans 24/7.
This last part is what is curious to me: what does Ororo know?
How much decision making is she a part of? I have felt that Ororo has not been shown to be a mover and shaker in any of the major decision making or leadership roles (until hopefully now). She’s been shown and placed in positions - but she hasn’t been shown making the decisions or planning what needs to be done. She’s been too much behind the scenes and now that she is Regent of Sol, I am hoping that we get to see her be a more integral part of the decision making process - not just trot her out to make proclamations and hurl lightning bolts to smite others so that they cower in fear.
I am hoping that Ewing (Hickman) is not setting her up just so that she falls and fails and the Summers clan has to come and save her ass. I have no faith in the X-Office and fear that this is what is going to happen.
the only time Ororo played a major role as a member of the Quiet Council was during The Curse of Man-Thing, other than that I can't remember any other time when Storm had any significant importance as a member.

I agree with that, I don't think Krakoa is going to be destroyed or anything like that, it wouldn't make sense all this world building is going to be undone so soon.
Exactly!
Now y'all check this out the weather system on Uranus and Neptune us soo intense it rains diamonds and creates a diamond ocean.

On Neptune, It's Raining Diamonds | BY DOMINIK KRAUS | Icy gems may be forming deep inside Neptune and Uranus
Deep within Neptune and Uranus, it rains diamonds—or so astronomers and physicists have suspected for nearly 40 years. The outer planets of our Solar System are hard to study, however. Only a single space mission, Voyager 2, has flown by to reveal some of their secrets, so diamond rain has remained only a hypothesis.
I want to see her manipulating Uranus, Neptune and Jupiter, it would be beautiful to see

Hi all. I was just curious: How long have y'all been posting in the CBR Storm Appreciation threads? I just want to know how long some of us have been preaching the good gospel of the Goddess. For me, I started pre-2014. I mostly started posting in the Storm appreciation threads probably around '07-'08.
How about you?

Hell if I remember...lol. We started this thread after some of us got kicked off Superhero Hype message board. So over a decade.

You’re right. I am buggin’ hard lol. I think I would love for Storm to have a seat at the table to shape the future of mutants and the X-Men as a whole once the dust settles. Its shortsighted of me to think Inferno is all there is. Part of me thinks about the Reign of X promo of her holding the mysterium, and thinking that she hopefully will have a story arc all her own that has world shaping power/influence. The X-Men can definitely not regress back to the pre Hox/Pox status quo. May be Storm’s role/plan secures that future. I hate the time gaps we’re contending with here. Sept might as well be a deacde from now lol.

A long time. Probably 2012 or a little earlier. I didn’t get into the chat boards until CV in like 2008ish. CBR came a few years later.
I don't even know if she would have any side to choose… Raven? Charles? Emma? We don't even know what Ororo's opinion is about the rules of precogs.
I dont think she knows anything about the precogs but it will be interesting to see what her thoughts are once the truth is revealed.
The possibilities are endless literally! The amount of things she can do with her powers the versatility alone is insane I mean calcium arrows and glass fragments in this world she would have omega level bone calcium manipulation and glass manipulation as she does with wind and water on earth. This is why I love Storm's powers the versatility doesn't come cheap it is not a simple ohhh I can snap and create a planet but detailed control over each and everything that goes into making weather weather, it involves a bit of work and creativity to use at its true potential.
agreed. Ororo, if creatively written as such, could pull a lot of tricks out of her sleeve. granted what she did there was only possible because of the weather systems in that world but it just goes to show she shouldn't be underestimated.

It was definitely before the site was restarted back in 2014 but I dont remember the exact yeast year maybe 2012 or 2013 for me. it was around the days when the clapping thunder thighs was a thing.

Clapping Thunder Thighs....lol....forgot about that.

lolol those were really fun days. the storm fandom then was insanely entertaining. things are a lot more calm today in comparison to the antics during that period lol

I can only imagine the fun but I also shudder at the amount of gaslighting storm fans had to endure then.

the gaslighting is pretty much the same now as it was then. funny thing some people were annoyed with storm fans because they would call her omega mutant and goddess so the irony both these things are canon now is priceless.
