Lord what now.
I always assumed it was a mixture of both. Her body automatically adjusted to temperature and she subconsciously manipulates her environment to compensate anything beyond her body's ability to adapt.
You are right it definitely is both as in her solo she unintentionally agitated air molecules to produce heat.
Nicevisual reference to the 1st Ororo/Kitty scene...

Thank you. And I loved their first meeting.

Whoever thought of that was creative because I wouldn’t of thought of that . Like what is “agitating air molecules” lol?
Whoever thought of that was creative because I wouldn’t of thought of that . Like what is “agitating air molecules” lol?
Ikr! Pak was kinda suckish when it came to the main plot of her solo but his creativity when it came to her mutant powers is above and beyond the xoffice. He was the one who established her magnetic abilities.
Lord what now.
Perhaps dancing this time? ;P
No previews yet for BP legends 2...demon days and where are we at sword? 11? Damn these delays....
That's quite a boring variant cover from Larraz.

Temperature is the state of molecular agitation. The way to identify the temperature, according to common sense, is the use of the words hot and cold, but, in fact, hot is when the molecules are very agitated, causing an increase in temperature.
Random thought but when was the last time Storm and Gambit had a conversation lol. I think they have a really underrated friendship and it’d be nice to see them hangout again.

X-Men Gold 30 I think?
I love their friendship too. :)
Can't get more classic then Cockrum's and Claremont's origins (continued from Len Wein).

I thought they would have interacted in Uncanny before the whole story arch bringing back 616 Logan as well as Scott. I don't remember much of that era though. I was in and out of the hospital. I haven 't finished it all. I got the whole thing on Comixology now.

I think Gambit was in space with Rogue during the Storm/Jean Uncanny era IIRC. Oh I'm sorry :( I hope you are much better now. <3

There were serious issues with this origin. She was called to Kenya because of her ancestral ties to her land, and yet she never meets anyone from her family. I know her parents were dead, but still.
Claremont didn’t fill this hole in until Storm married the Black Panther.
Her uncle became a military general and became obsessed with killing mutants because he was angry he was left out of the matriarchal family dynamic, where the women inherited magical powers. Ironically, Storm’s mother ran away from this as well.
Storm's origin remains one of the most three-dimensional and well-thought out (even without the later additions) of all the X-Men. I would even place it in the top five of all Marvel Origins along side Spiderman's, the F4's and Captain America's.

It’s a series of YouTube animations where two fictional characters with similar abilities battle each other. They’re a big deal amongst mostly middle school kids. Korra is the protagonist of the Legend of Korra Nickelodeon cartoon.

Oh.
So absolutely nothing of import worthy of anyone's time and interest.

I don’t personally watch their content but their “death battle” videos consistently get millions of views, so it would be nice if they don’t do Storm dirty

Some would say the exact same thing about this forum, Storm, and comic books in general. Just because it's not important to you doesn't mean you have to knock it. Besides, if millions of people watch their videos they must be doing something right.

I can't really see Storm loosing against Korra. Water, fire, and Air mean nothing to Storm and Earth could easily be removed from the equation if the fight went to the sky. Call me kookie, but I have a feeling that Storm would sense rocks zooming to meet her head miles below her. But perhaps I'm not giving Korra her dues?

And they would be right.
This forum and comic books in general are only important to those who are in it/part of it. No one else. (Storm is only the Great Goddess above All to the handful of us who know her and love her and have been following her since GSXM 01...not to the other billions of people on this planet who couldn't care less)
Millions of people follow the cesspit that is Twatter...I guess it must be doing something right.
Do you really give a shit if millions of people watch their vids with Storm being properly beaten by Korra? How does that change your perception and understanding of Storm as YOU believe her to be? As the others here, believe her to be?
And yes...I will absolutely knock the shit out of it because at the end of it all...it serves absolutely no purpose (other than mindless entertainment that has no relevance to the Storm I read in my comic books then or now. So yes, let the little tweens have their fun...the adults know better.

She could. Hell, she could do it while sitting on a LionTurtle in the middle of the ocean.
No one in the Avatar-verse is on her level (planetary), at most the Avatar is large city (Manhattan) area.

Lol, i really didn't like Korra. I actually thought the side characters were more interesting. ..and I loved Amon and Kuvira.
Should be interesting! I've seen arguments that say Storm could solo every nation.
Yh I love Korra and avatar but storm would massacre them easily. Like the kind of power storm can command not even the avatar can dream of it.

Naah you are Korra had some of the biggest feats in the avatar universe but she is still no match for storm.
Lol, i really didn't like Korra. I actually thought the side characters were more interesting. ..and I loved Amon and Kuvira.
Haha that’s understandable. I hated Korra in the first season when I watched it the first time. I feel they redeemed her through the series and thankfully matured her so she wasn’t just a spoiled little shit. And I agree that those two were great.
Lol, i really didn't like Korra. I actually thought the side characters were more interesting. ..and I loved Amon and Kuvira.
The side charachters were more interesting? Did we watch the same show? Anyways the important thing is that storm wins this fight rather easily. A neural attack would end the fight before it even begins.

Korra was the most compelling in her series and was a much better charachter than even her predecessor who started and ended the sane way. many people simply hate it when a female charachter is headstrong. Case in point captain marvel and storm telling doom and magneto to know their place.
Oh man! I love Korra(Points to my avatar(haha))but Storm has this hands down!
A better fight would have been storm vs the four nations and the avatar.... That would have been fair.

I agree that she was complex and compelling. I love her complete arc. It was just when I first watched initially I thought she was kind of too spoiled-ish if that makes sense. When I rewatched it I appreciated it a lot more.
