I just don't think we can ignore that people like Strange throughout their whole careers faced threats that I don't know if Storm could face unless she had an amp just as we don't want that many statements about Storm to be one of the most powerful beings in MU Be forgotten or ignored.
And thinking about it, since Knull would have access to the memory of his symbiotes, would it be possible for him to know about Hadari Yao? so that's why he considered Storm to be his most powerful avatar.

Let's have this discussion because I certainly wouldn't want to lowball another character to prop my face. What are some examples of threats he have faced that you would be unsure storm couldn't face? There is an example in Extraordinary Xmen (i believe) where Magik couldn't open a portal back to limbo because the power she had borrowed from mages was too much for her, yet Storm was able to channel that same power and then open the portal.

Right. These power upgrades have been going on since her creation, so I wouldn't be shocked to see her go Dark Phoenix or HOM Wanda pretty soon. While I'm against the "Women can't control great power" Troup...I will read the hell out of the story if it happens.

Is it understood how her Hadari Yao powers actually work yet? Is it only situational (people praying to her at a particular moment) or does people having faith in her allow her to channel that power continuously?

he has fought with Skyfather level characters or above, such as: Dormmammu, Umar, Nightmare, Shuma-Gorath, Galactus, Nekron and etc ...
these guys are a bit too much for Storm unless she’s using his divine powers.
I consider him most powerfull than Thor

Ororo explained that when people believed in her she would become stronger prior to realizing she had divine power. Though it has not fully been explained it appears that so long as she has people who believe she can tap into it. Of the two times she used her god powers where it was stated one she had prayers and the other it happened involuntarily when she was under the influence of mountain spores.

yea I would prefer to not see that trope either as we know ororo told cyclops early on that she was in complete control of her powers when she destroyed that sentinel above nyc.

well storm defeated death in BP to save tchalla but outside of that I don't know of any instances where she has fought skyfather level characters or above with the exception of adversary which she was stated to be a bigger god them him. she would definitely have to be in hadari yao form to take on those threats.

And let's be clear here...it's not like Thor and Strange defeated those beings with just a snap of their fingers and were home in time for afternoon tea and scones. More often than not both characters had to sacrifice a part of themselves to achieve their wins. Going up against Dormmamu and other Cosmic Entities usually comes with a high personal cost.

She didnt defeat him? Shuri tricked Morlun to go where they were and death was more interested in him so he let them go. But it's been a few years since I read it.

as tchalla mentioned death cant die but he was momentarily defeated. ororo essentially gave her life in place of tchalla but as you mentioned I think they worked something out with the morlun guy to where they both were able to leave.

that said, she still defeated him if only for just a moment.

Entities such as Death, Galactus, Dormamu the Adversary etc. cannot be utterly destroyed as that would most likely do irreparable damage to the existence of the universe itself. The best even the most powerful hero can hope for is to deliver a sound trouncing and live to fight another day.

If we have to be honest, Dr Strange hasn't killed any of the powerful entities you mentioned. He defeated them, just like Storm defeated Death and Adversary. I would dare to say that perhaps she is near the level of All-Father, but she is not there yet. The only thing which stops her of being as powerful as Thor is only her physicality. He is Asgardian, she is a mutant. This is the only difference between current Thor and Storm as Hadari-Yao. I just wish they would ascend her already as a Goddess being physically. Once that happens and she is in full control of her Hadari-Yao power, she will be equal to Thor's galactic level. But then probably they will turn him in multiversal universal being only so he can be stronger than Storm and then, if we get creative enough writers and plenty of solos (and they are successful) then she will catch up to him again. But that is at least a decade in the future, probably with their slow release schedule.

Knull is a god an elder God so he has the capacity to see things that others can't not even gods not even cerebro. I have always wondered why he called her little light then proceeded to take her as his own personally. Also I think it has to do with the inner power that they were talking about in marauders 13. There is a strength to storm I don't know whether it is tge divine or omega mutant. But there is definitely something more than mere cerebro can perceive. I feel that's the reason she is worshiped

I think people gloss over the fact that storms powers only limitation is her strength of will. And the limits of her will was tested when she hosted all of eternity. That's how strong her will is. The more her will the more power she can muster. But her body limitation I feel it is self imposed.

Relationship shoulda stayed dead since 2012. Luckily the Coates run is ending with a whimper and Storm allegedly has a big story planned by the X-Office. She's supposed to make an appearance in SWORD I heard so hopefully we see Ewing work his magic on Storm. Looking forward to more interactions with her and Jean too.

Avoiding all the tchalla/storm talk on a personal level. On a business level with no tchalla in the MCU and mutants on the way and no news post Coates I don't think there is any benefit in the relationship so if it's black love they want they will prob try someone else or create a new paramour. But with heros reborn also taking over the main books and then the xbooks having a gala if it does happen at least it won't be til fall so at least 6-9 months to enjoy.

The comic said Savage Avengers #19 takes place before King in Black #4. Thor was already possessed before that. King in Black #4 showed him and the other Fantastic Four getting freed from the symbiotes.
