okay and now your doing the work for them an invalidated all your old arguments because as you said she wasn't a goddess until coates made her one. notice i haven't disagreed with you, i haven't said you are wrong, i just don't live in the past and don't care. So i don't get what is trying to be accomplished.
invalidate what old arguments? I've never said she was a literal goddess before Coates. I have said there are instances from the past that support her being an actual goddess which i believe is what coates used in his development for her gift of godhead.
Yh but that's the thing though chthon is a primordial god an elder god as old and as ancient as well Gaia, oshtur. He has reality warping that is unparalleled and is one of the very few beings capable of affecting and hurting the singular manifestation of all life the pheonix force. Adversary is a chaos god but he is a trickster ultimately. I was thinking about the two of them wondering if they came to head who would win and from the looks of it chthon would edge out adversary.....
yea im sure most say chthon would win but adversary cannot be destroyed so that is a tricky one for me.
When it comes to magical energies I expect Ororo to follow Topaz “model” but in a much more powerful way, to be able to generate your own mystical energies is considered somewhat of a privilege in the marvel universe

It looks like we're in the same synergy here, Storm could be a mystical ergokinetic too, as her powers give her a lot of contact with the energies, no wonder she managed to open a portal with the channeled energies of the sorcerers while Magik was getting hurt , channeled energy from an entire dimension and then healed it.
do u have feats for chthon? I know roma mentioned life itself couldn't exist without adversary so that says a lot but I'm not familiar with chthon.
Chthon is a pillar of magic in the Marvel Universe, he is an Elder God, if I'm not mistaken the Vinshattis teamed up to create a book to oppose or be equal to the Darkhold, he is very powerful, must be the second most powerful of the Gods Elders, it is said that he can destroy a multiverse or create one, only his existence on earth is a threat, so he uses receptacles, like Wanda, so that one day he can leave his dimension.
A Recton I would make would connect the Adversary with Chthon, a lost son, something like that, and Ororo would have the "Order Magic" thanks to Oshtur, so I would explain that of Hadari Yao, Chaos vs Order

Yeah I am not exactly thrilled that Storm's godhood is somewhat tied to Wakanda. I don't want Storm relying on other's mythos. She has her own they can explore before tying her once again into the BP story. But I guess that is what happens when the X side unfortunately doesn't want to bother exploring that aspect of the character. Again so much wasted story potential. Nearly 40 years of character history and barely even hinted upon.

PWNT!
An often underestimated power for Storm. If I recal Gahran is a superhumanly durable warrior and was one-shotted by This mini sand tornado. She also KO’d Angel (not superhuman but noteworthy) and De Ruyters thugs w/ a hurricane force wind blast. I think she also stunned Quicksilver with a wind blast too. It makes me think about how concentrated those air masses would have to be to hit with enough force to stun or flat out KO them.
-
Yh exactly storm is simply greater than he is. Thats why I do not believe it was magic that she used to smite him because the wakandans had already cast the spell it was left with how to get him in and that's what hadari yao did she pushed him into the spell to be sealed with no effort.
Being a goddess means her powers are mystical by nature. You simply beating around a bush and don't want to admit it. Storm with her mutants powers no matter how powerful they are can not defeat Adversary. The scans literally say Storm is a new Wakandan Goddess and literally says by super powers magic by transforming faith into power.

That was weird for me though
Adversary comes from the universe of pure chaos as he is also a being of pure chaos even described as a pan-dimensional demon. It's even hinted in marvel databooks he is possibly older than the 616 universe. Chthon was born after 616 universe was created. But yet Roma stated a being of pure chaos has a huge effect on a universe he's not even from if he's in the prison dimension forever. This means Adversary chaos is maybe more powerful.

This does make me wonder would it be different if Storm was in their dimension. We know in the normal dimension her ol powers can't do much against advesary but if we use the trion dimension and the world (Giant sized storm) it makes me wonder how her powers would affect them if she brought the battle to their realm as then she would have control over aspects of the dimension itself.

The Adversary is speculated to be nothing but an aspect of Coyote, who is the god of trickster. I don't know if they would also apply to his powers over chaos. Not only that Adversary chaos powers are his. Chthon did not create the chaos magic but uses it for himself.

Whoo that felt like a bible read with all the names but it answered my question. If they predate the elements that existed to create everything then it would make sense that Storm's natural power over the elements would not work on them and as such she must be using some magical means to effect them and most likely it is divine/cosmic to hit beings on that level. Thanks i appreciate it.

Boom! Exactly as I said it the wellspring is the same weather magic or cosmic power..... There is this concept of the god particle or force which gives heroes and super beings their power in marvel. But that is very dumb they could have just limited this source to divine beings and maybe omega level heroes like the omega level mutants, hulk, sentry and others. But instead marvel introduced a great concept and bastardized it just like they did with the pheonix force.

Gods will always have access to their own reserves of COSMIC- PSIONIC-MYSTIC power, you could even consider these CATEGORIES as the 3 ways path to godhood…… I once elaborated about them here, it was mostly my head canon but I do think it makes sense, when it comes to the marvel universe hierarchies cosmic powers, unlimited psionic potential and mystic might are the keys to the top floor.

Hmmm that may be why omega level mutants are potentially godlike or gods in their own right as they have virtually unlimited psionic potential 7 on the power scale. And storm has that along with great mystical potential.
Also what is the difference between cosmic power and someone like storm who can manipulate cosmic forces.

Strictly speaking of Storm (the mutant) her earth-spanning elemental manipulation has been said to be psionic, I believe she can access cosmic reserves of power but that’s something more likely to happen when leaving planetary bodies behind and immersing herself in the depths of space (see the galactic core feat).
One could also say that Ororo is not simply manipulating weather but also generating tremendous amounts of power, so in an hypothetical chart she would be at the top of multiple categories ( the psionic one + the energy projection…)

I am not downplaying anything, gods are not inherently magical. A god can perform feats without using divine magic, but simply because they have actual authority. It's not a hard fast rule that everything a god does is magically based. As Odin stated he and Thanos are all connected to the same source of limitless energy and power the only difference is the nature of how they channel their power he does so with divine mysticism whilst Thanos does so with scientific apparatus.
You are treating divine magic as a catch all term for anything a god does when that simply isn't the case as it's more convoluted than that.
Also let's make this relevant to the begining of whatever this is. If the pheonix was to face the adversary do you honestly believe the adversary would be able to take down the pheonix? Would it just be because pheonix doesn't have high order magic? I doubt that, why? because pheonix is simply greater than he is same as the elder gods are above him and eternity and the living tribunal are all above him. That's why I am saying that hadari yao overpowered him not because she was using high order magic but simply because she is mightier than him. She didnt even battle him all she did was singlehandedly push him back, had we seen an actual battle then we would draw conclusions that she used elements of a spell or whatever...but as it stands now we have literally nothing suggesting that because info on hadari yao is still very scarce. We simply know that the faith of wakandans activated her godhead same as the spores did in shuri.
All I hope for is that Ewing would flesh out her divinity more during his run and establish her beyond wakanda and unto the greater MU as a whole.

The nature of cosmic or psionic powers is kinda fuzzy to me. I think cosmic powers deal with the fundamental forces that govern the universe adjusting and governing aspects of the universe with already established laws and principles or breaking them bordering and entering the abstract. Meanwhile psionic is mental influence over an aspect of the universe or reality which can also border on the abstract, that's why psionic is kinda beneath cosmic as the ultimate expression of a psionic is to go cosmic. The only one that seems distinct is mystical since incantations and stuff are needed to activate it. But even magic at a certain level doesn't really need much to work and operates similarity to cosmic and psionic powers case in point wanda being able to shape reality to her emotions in house of M without incantations except for the no more mutants thing. Does that make sense? I kinda wrote alot lol.
Storm has access to mystic, psionic and cosmic energy sources all to an measurable degree. I think that hadari yao being deeper than all these is when all these sources align bringing out her true ultimate expression. And that's why I think knull said he was his most powerful. Because with the like s of Thor though he has immeasurable mystical and then cosmic powers he didn't have Immeasurable psionic powers, hulk has immeasurable cosmic strength, legion has immeasurable psionic strength, same for all other omegas. But storm has all three locked and loaded on an immeasurable scale. When you sit and really think about it storm is like really really really op.
