No offense but I don't know what you expected. I have no dog in this fight, but I would not go into an appreciation thread and nearly hijack it defending another character. Whether the arguments and explanations are justified or not, history has shown it's a bad idea. I noticed you all are having a little fun talking smack about Storm in the Jean thread, and that is fine, but I certainly wouldn't want Jean's thread to get derailed by Storm fans defending her character in a Jean appreciation thread either(and it may have already happened in the past, I honestly don't know). I'm not sure what you are even talking about but lovely you are in storms thread arguing, and incorrectly so might I add, about showings to devalue storm. as I said, I seen many many ridiculous claims made in Jean's thread as it relates to ororo and not once have I commented. if you are expecting this thread to appreciate anyone other than storm no matter how wrong you feel it may be you are in the wrong thread. if appreciation and loving storm is not enough for you perhaps make another thread titled Ororo and Jean or go to a battle thread.

1000% agree. It makes people look petty imo. I wouldn't go into a jean thread just to respond about what i perceive as negativity about storm being presented there. Or as a Storm FF i personally just wouldn't respond to it as a Jean fan also. It makes it seems disingenuous which is what i honestly felt with Mercury post the other day after the mod cleared things up, it was like, or it felt like to me. "let me get my last word." but i let it go but it did surprise me given what i have read of Mercury posts.

It is wierd but as a fan of both charachters Jean's base just icks me the wrong way. They are special kind of breed that once you get to know them realize why even xwritters see Jean as a joke. Anyways my girl storm at least doesn't need an over cooked cosmic parrot to become a god she simply is one by right of birth.

No offense taken. Recently, Spideyfan came into our thread to defend the Avengers and we had an invigorating debate and a good time. Not once did any of us feel the need to insult him or belittle him (talk about "special") - admittedly, I did playfully tell him to "zip it" but apologized when I realized it was taken seriously - and he stuck around to chat about other things. I've been extremely polite in this thread and not as snarky and cutting as I can be mostly because I actually like Storm as a character.
I felt the need to continue debating in this thread days ago not so much to continue pitting Jean against Storm, like some in here seem hellbent on doing, but because butterflykyss was saying and insinuating things about Jean that simply were not true, based on her recorded, i.e., written and drawn, history, such as that Jean is a racist, or harboring racist feelings, because of picturing Storm as her slave during the Dark Phoenix Saga, completely ignoring the fact that she was psychically violated and manipulated, having images, thoughts, feelings, and even memories implanted into her psyche by Mastermind and Emma Frost. My reply was deleted, which I thought was unfair, but I stopped replying.
However, I did make a mistake by replying in this thread again. I only did so because I've been visiting this thread, again, because I actually like Storm. She's one of my favorite characters. so I just got my storm to 450k+ power and doing f2p. there are some whose characters power level is over 1 million. I dont think there is any way to do that f2p.
and for those of you who like costumes there are some really good storm ones. moving forward I will save the cute ones and post them here.

I mean I love how it is undisputed that she is the regent of Sol.... Like the xwritters do cause a lot of shenanigans but they know who the top girl is and hint it is not a red head or multiple red heads you know they are soo many I forget which one the scr3ming one or the microwave one or the baby one or the perpetual house wife
