I gave up long ago trying to understand why Storm is practically always in such a rut in the x books. They just have a perception of the character that I just don't find appealing(the pacifist incompetent den mother blah blah). Usually I take the scraps we are given(X of Swords was a hot mess but I liked Storm's depiction in it) and just kinda hope for better in the future, which is what I am currently doing. Waiting it out to see if Hickman's "great" plans with her will actually bear fruit.

Ok , would you care to explain? I did give my reasons as to why I thought they should at least show her depowerment. Again not in the first three movies but, down the line?
And my post had nothing to do with T'Challa or Black panther but since you brought it up. Tchalla is going to get recast by the third movie, revealing he faked his death with the help of Storm and is now ready to be BP again.

Watching Wandavision was like, are they just ripping off Storm. But it gives me hope that they must be doing some research and work for our girl Storm.
If Storm come of with the air of confidence and powerhouse that she is, I feel showcasing her claustrophobia is all the more important to show Duality.
But after wandavision I don't know how true or much we're going to see as an orgin for her.
I mean still got Street theift , Shadow King , killing a man as she trek across the desert, Ororo before the storm, meeting yng Tchalla , and goddess tribe that we can still touch .
And let not forget Being A Princess.

Very true. The comicvine forum is almost barren. The Storm threads here used to be bonkers, especially pre-2014 CBR. Nowadays things have become much more laid-back. If I'm being honest, there is a part of me that misses all of the chaos that used to permeate the former threads.

It also says Hellgala, which means that something big will be happening on that Gala, I would imagine that they will be there to show the true power of the Mutants or something? I mean you have 4 Global Mutants, Omega Level, which can pretty much fuck up the entire planet.
Magneto can fuck up the magnetic field and the radiation will kill everyone, well a few will survive, like Storm for example, but still, most of the humans will die.
Storm, can mess up the entire ecosystem and cause a real Geostorm, you can only imagine what this means if you watched the Geostorm movie.
Jean can literally control everyone on the earth with Cerebro.
And Iceman can put us in a new ice age. In all of these situations, the funny thing is that Storm will survive, now when I think about it. :D

yea each of them on their on own can do some pretty crazy things on a global level. also 3 out of four of the mutants have galactic feats to some degree. these are not the ones you wanna cross

Indeed. I believe Jean will be there for Psychic protection since they do have mutant or something among those lines that can control mutants and people. Not that Storm needs that but Iceman for example does need that. Really interesting, can't wait... 2 more months.

I know its June. this is a gala though so it should be like a party not really a fight right? I'm wondering if there is conflict where will it come from. and im surprised the sentinels have not attempted to attack krakoa yet.

I do not think that the Sentinels are ready for such a thing. Plus, wasn't there an issue where they killed that big head and then a second hint recently where someone was working from inside SWORD to take down Krakoa, a double agent?

From the background colour it looks like they are on Mars, where they planted a Krakoan Gateway, so...extrapolating from the cover image and the four Omegas...I could easily see Jean using her telepathy to synch Iceman, Storm and Magneto as they combine their omega might to terraform a part of Mars.

I cant recall any recent xmen issue where her connection to planets, let alone the earth, was mentioned. we saw this most recently marvel voices but this wasn't written by anyone in the xoffices. it would be nice to see them remember this detail.

I really didn't thought of that. Yes, that could be the background but it can also be a volcano or sunset. But if what you say is indeed so, yeah those four mutants can terraform Mars.
Magneto can bring the magnetic field and protection around Mars and start up and make a connection with the core of the planet, which is believed to be metallic.
Storm can bring and create the weather patterns and the ecosystem. Considering that her weather manipulation has no upper limit and Iceman can wrap the south and northern poll.
I am not sure what Jean can do? Perhaps there is inhabitants and she can communicate and learn their language the fastest way through her Omega telepathy or something, not sure there. Or she can create life if she borrows the Phoenix or something. Or perhaps she will act as communicator between Earth and Mars like she did in issue 3? Or 4? From House of X.

this is assuming that is what they are doing. as we know covers can be misleading. if the planet in uninhabitable she probably wouldn't be using her tp but she could use her tk to move around large masses of Earth maybe. it would be cool to see them all working together to make a planet.
