The problem is that when it comes to Storm there is always a snag in the theories outlined by fans. What we are talking about here are theories based on the scientific view, the internet does not exist only to consume pornography, but to study and do research.
Just as there are scientific explanations even if hypothetically for Bobby's deeds, there are also scientific explanations for Ororo's.
Plants have chlorophyll, which makes photosynthesis possible. For it is exactly chlorophyll that captures light energy and transforms it into chemical energy. This means that the plant absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and water from the soil. In the presence of light, carbon dioxide and water molecules react with each other, producing glucose and oxygen.
Between the atoms that make up the glucose molecule is stored the energy that the plant will use to grow and that will be consumed by other living beings.
Bobby's power over ice moves into the esoteric with his sentient ice creation. Like literally he can create a living being with independent thought and desires which is as powerful as an high level alpha mutant. Infact bobby created a golem that can actually match the hulk's strength not exactly but close. It's really crazy what he can do with his omega level cryokinesis.
On the plant thing you are right.
From a scientific perspective I understand how Storm's powers can and should work, theoretically, but...I also know and understand and fully appreciate these purely fantastical imaginative worlds where my grasp of the laws of science and physics don't/cannot easily be applied. And I'm quite okies with that...If I wasn't I wouldn't be reading comics at all.
She is still not a "florokinetic" or whatever word is used to mean "control over plants". Never was. Never will be. She certainly manipulates the various factors/elements that sustain and encourage plant life and life in general, but that's about it. Having a connection to is not the same as controlling.

But, does that mean Ororo can take an acorn and make it grow into a fully grown Oak tree in a matter of minutes?

If she uses magic, yes.

Then as of date, can site for us when and where Ororo (title and issue please) has canonically used magic within the pages in the past -- a scan or two would be acceptable, thanks... Oh, and the Magik Limited Series (1983) does not count :p

Everything about Storm past says she is highly suitable for magic. She also collected the magic from illyana and opened a portal in i think extraodinary xmen, whatever that issue was with seraphina. Also by her very description. I don't have title and issue but google will def bring it up. Also by fact of just who she is and specifically the criteria for the white hair and blue eyes in her line she has magical potential though as has been stated several times in comics her mutant power is so strong she doesn't really need to rely on magic.
Also on scale of magic she is the third priestess with Agatha and Scarlet Witch so even if it's never realized the potential is certainly there.

Extraordinary xmen issue six she channels magical energy from different mages through illyana who couldn't handle the power to create a portal to limbo.

When she Defeated the adversary, an upper level demon by channeling the belief/prayer of all of Wakanda and is stated to be an actual goddess. Earlier, when she dismissed the supernatural storm created by the Adversary. These were in the pages of the Black Panther.
She hosted Bast’s essence in her so when the Shadow Ming attacked her Bast would devour the Shadow King.

It’s been realized. She defeated the Adversary, a demon who Roma, the daughter of Merlín could not defeat on her own. Anyone wanting to find out about is more than
Capable of finding out those issues of Black Panther.
I believe that it she can metabolize the elements at the atomic and molecular level in plants, taking into account that indoleacetic acid is an auxin (plant growth hormone), which aims to promote the differential cell elongation of plants, working a growth regulator of vegetables.
The formula of auxin is C10H9NO2 (with 10 carbon atoms, 9 hydrogen, 1 nitrogen and 2 oxygen).
Again, this is one of the hypotheses I use to justify the event that took place in Black Panther #21.
I don't consider divine powers to be the same as magic so I dont believe adversary feat is necessarily evidence of magic. those are two different things

This is when fans get unnecessarily and ridiculously argumentative. In the context of Marvel magic comes from the divine and all gods have magical powers. All!
So yes. Storm defeated a demon using magical powers. An entire nation put their belief into Storm, and believed she was a goddess. It made her one. That’s magical thinking, right there, an extreme example of it.

No im not being argumentative. I'm simply stating facts. in Black Panther Tanehesi Coates' run there was never indication it was magic she used. In fact if it was magic that could have defeated adversary one of the wakandan mages would have been effective against him. Their powers were useless and it is explicitly said her source of power was divinity and faith. Not magic.

Magic (supernatural), beliefs and actions employed to influence supernatural beings and forces
Faith/belief was useful to turn a woman into a goddess to defeat a supernatural force. This is the essence of magic…….
