Also don’t forgot that scene from Uncanny X-men where they happen upon a newly resurrected Psylocke/Betsy with Bishop, which causes Betsy to lash out against them with her newly enhanced TK powers, so much so that it was too strong for Rachel who couldn’t even counteract it. Storm was the only one who could break through her telekinetic maelstrom and convince Betsy to stand down.

LMAO This moment seems a lot like a child throwing a tantrum, and the mother appears with a slipper and at the same moment the child stops. That moment was also amazing.
Honestly, I didn't even know she was the plot point in a story. I was just trying to find mutant characters who had the ability to control the weather and she came up. The thing is though, is that the issue where they say she's controlling the weather I saw nothing.
So Lin is basically been upset rightfully so by the way man is killing the planet and she is on a killing spree and the person that has come to calm her is wolverine ... And it is such a kick in the teeth as there are better mutants who can deal with this and what she is going through maybe not storm but many many more. But as usual wolverine is where he isn't supposed to be.
Did Rachel actually have the echo then? I thought she didn't get any Phoenix juice until she absorbed the echo from the blade and became the blue phoenix.
She does have the echo as it was glowing as she was trying to stop Betsy to no avail. It's with this same power that she used to generate the black hole and caused storm to create a primordial global super storm.
Storm looking like "got damn this krakoa council is boring as hell compared to our Arrako meetings. Should i throw a knife at somebody?"
I usually can never make it through these but this guy's voice was lit. lol. I'm on a binge of lack of sleep and this gave me that extra oomph i needed. lol
I loved his review on Storm. Would be nice to see if Tarn did something that had lasting effects!

Yes he loves Storm and specifically Black Superheros in general but he usually gives in depth details when reviews comics and he's always energetic when reviewing. Ernie Blerd without fear whatever tf that's supposed to mean lmao

Blerd = black nerd. The "without fear" part is a Daredevil (?) reference.

I'm not a fan of Pelletier's style but I have to give him props. That's beauty-fully executed.

How could I ever say no to classic Storm?! Absolute perfection

There is speculation that Iceman will leave the Marauders and join SWORD, what do you think? I don't really like the idea of having an elemental in the same comics as Storm, as this usually happens and they end up not exploiting one of their powers (in this case, negative temperature manipulation) to leave another character, thus not making anyone do anything.

I might pass the hell out. Iceman, Storm, and Cable written by ewing with arrako mutants. This feels like a 90s dream team come true. I am just hoping Ewing finds a way to tie his royals story into arrako with flint becoming a progentor etc.

Uh, Storm ceasing to use its cold and ice related powers, to letting the Iceman use it... Ugh, I don't know.

Maybe that's why Ewing got in that badass snowflake moment right away. Honestly she can do so much with her other powers and space weather that I'm not that concerned.

Or rather than can do more with their combination. I don't see one as having to take away from another that is all on the writer not the characters. If i could i would add crystal to the team personally. As far as similarities Aero has wind powers in the marvels but i don't feel that takes away from storm i actually look forward to seeing how someone who specializes in wind are developing their powers or how human torch is on the team as well and am looking forward to potential combos with storm and what they can teach each other. may not actually happen but i've already thought of like a hundred positive ways it could and tha'ts why i read these stories.
