But, does that mean Ororo can take an acorn and make it grow into a fully grown Oak tree in a matter of minutes?
I would say no. Because that would involve manipulation of bio-matter on molecular and subatomic levels. Storm does not directly affect biological matter. Most plants, even when placed in an optimum environment, do not show accelerated growth...healthy growth, prolific growth but not accelerated growth.
Unless...unless...her goddess power was being used as theoretically/supposedly with that Coates example. (IMO he's done much more damage to her power-set and its definition by pushing her divinity but not expounding on it.)
No im not being argumentative. I'm simply stating facts. in Black Panther Tanehesi Coates' run there was never indication it was magic she used. In fact if it was magic that could have defeated adversary one of the wakandan mages would have been effective against him. Their powers were useless and it is explicitly said her source of power was divinity and faith. Not magic.
The godhead is a divine magic
The databook even says she turns faith into power like gods do so her powers are magical.
Guys sometimes I am a mess and I think up some wild things but I just found something very wild and it is big y'all..... Did we know that there is a storm called the black winter that is sooo big and powerful it spans multiverse.and I am like oooop.
Well, I did mention the Black Storm like few hours after Thor's issue was posted. No one really took an interest in it or if Storm is possible to control it.
Huh would you look at that, I guess storm should in theory have control over gravity as well electromagnetism and when you factor her control over radiation you can say she can also manipulate strong and weak forces this would give storm control over the very fundamental forces of the universe which makes sense because they Are what ultimately governs weather. I was watching agents of shield and I saw that there was a planet which has gravity storms. The weather creates pockets of intense or less gravity which crushes or floats matter respectively. It was soo dope and made me think of storm was there would she be able to control the gravity weather.
She has controlled weather which was based on bones and ruby lightning. SO yes, I can pretty safely say that she will be able to control the gravity weather of that planet if she gets to it and survive the gravity herself. But considering that usually her powers protect her from the weather effects, I belive she will have zero problems managing the gravity storms with her body.
The problem is that when it comes to Storm there is always a snag in the theories outlined by fans. What we are talking about here are theories based on the scientific view, the internet does not exist only to consume pornography, but to study and do research.
Just as there are scientific explanations even if hypothetically for Bobby's deeds, there are also scientific explanations for Ororo's.
Plants have chlorophyll, which makes photosynthesis possible. For it is exactly chlorophyll that captures light energy and transforms it into chemical energy. This means that the plant absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and water from the soil. In the presence of light, carbon dioxide and water molecules react with each other, producing glucose and oxygen.
Between the atoms that make up the glucose molecule is stored the energy that the plant will use to grow and that will be consumed by other living beings.
All that science and at the end the explanation is rather simple. She simply healed the plant, no need to go so deep to every little detail to understand it. This is fanfiction, not science-fiction, I suggest you all start thinking this way.
However, this doesn't mean that you should stop imagining what else Storm could do with her powers.

Divinity is a type of magic. There are different types of magic in Marvel
You can only defeat Adversary with powerful magic. Just having powerful magic doesn't mean anything because he was withstanding his own magic being thrown back at from Rogue, blocked Darkchylde magic from entering the starlight citadel, withstood and defeated Roma's magic, and more.
It takes really powerful magic or the spirit spell which seals him into the prison dimension.
As shown in the arc Zawavari who invokes the echo of the elder gods for magic couldn't do anything. He literally ran away to gather magics to order a portal. Storm ascended into her god hodo and oneshotted Adversary with a bolt.

How does Storm not directly affect biological matter, if it has already performed some feats directly affecting biological matter? She's already affected Sinister's neurons.
It’s been realized. She defeated the Adversary, a demon who Roma, the daughter of Merlín could not defeat on her own. Anyone wanting to find out about is more than
Capable of finding out those issues of Black Panther.
I just reread the issue when she was powerless and she was fighting the demons up until her return. It's a good read. I have the xmen dvds.

Yes, it's a fiction whether you like it or not. Now, if this fiction applies to Storm's abilities then it's another question. I don't think it was by divine energy, because the two times that Storm used her divinity she needed people to direct their faith to her. In this specific case, there was no one directing faith to his person, even though he was mentioned as Hadari Yao, but that doesn't mean much because Hadari Yao is just another alter-ego.

I think people are confusing plant growth with plant manipulation. Plant Growth means you have the power to grow plants and that is all as Storm has shown. Plant Manipulation means you have the power to grow plants, control them, create, interact with them, and much more as Poison Ivy has done.
While it's not far out of Storm's abilities she just doesn't have the feats. At best she can make the plants grow and that's it. You could count interact with them since she did sense a tree dying.
Storm has cosmic power over the 4 fundamental sources of the universe. That doesn't mean she's gonna learn every application but it doesn't take her potential.

do you have anything from canon that states the first point you made?

Yes, she made the plants grow. If she did, it's because she can, but there are those who say no, when everything was pretty clear.

She threatened to manipulate the electrical impulses which neurons use to transmit information...she didn't threaten to suddenly make his neurons larger or ripped them from his head. Same with his heart...she threatened to freeze it. Not directly increase or slow down its rhythm or it's blood flow.
Having an effect on something is not directly controlling it.
She can cause an effect directly on biological matter/tissue. She does not control biological matter/tissue.

1. It stated Storm turns worship into godlike power as she became a new Wakandan Goddess.
2. The Wakandan gods get their magic by transforming faith into power
This is why when Storm was able to access her god powers the first time to disperse Adversary Storm. She stated it was faith and divinity.
This means Storm uses god's magic or divine magic.
Also, Adversary is immune to all physical attacks whether that be physical strength and energy attacks if it's not very high-tier magic or iron. As already shown Storm's physical powers would not even put a scratch on him.

It really annoys me how they try to link her only to wakanda. yes that is where it was materilized and Coates gets all his credit for that but he also linked that she has been in this state or close to it before when she was worshipped in the African plains which would predate her being a wakandian god specifically and more just add it to her godly resume. I hope if Ewing touches on it he at least shows us she is far more spread out in africa then just wakanda. I mean from egypt to wakanda people know of the wind rider or the young goddess. Also i feel it doesn't take her line into account.

I kind of want Ewing to expound on her newly-realised divinity but at the same time I don't care that much about it at all (OL Storm is all I need) so I won't be too pressed if it's never ever brought up or addressed in-story.
