It's kind of a joke, so I don't think it's actually going to happen.
What is with the speech bubbles in this book...
is Beastman taken?
Changeling for me sounds even smaller than Beast Boy. It probably meant to sound like Earthling, Halfling, or that Changeling itself mythologically refer to switched elf baby but my first thought was Youngling.
Not called Titans, but have Titans on it and i don't see a Young Justice thread, so i'll post here.
Young Justice Season 4 has a bigger budget and it's being entirely animated by Studio Mir2010, the same one that animated the Legend of Korra. Some great news since the animation for s3 was not that great.

Lets just hope that the storylines and characters are also stronger than S3. S3 was....not good in multiple ways.

Teddy Altman when he debuted was pretending to be a teenage Hulk, hence the Hulk part of his name, when he's actually a Skrull/Kree hybrid and the son of Marvel's first Captain Marvel, which I guess explains the -ling part as that description would make him a Halfling.
In answer to your question, no, DC doesn't have a Beast Man. Closest I found on the wiki was a silver age group of Wonder Woman villains called Beast Men.

Isn't Beastman a He-Man villain?
Isn't Beastman a He-Man villain?
Beast Man is a He- Man villain.
Gar could always take up his Kingdom Come name of Menagerie.

Wasn't there also another character named Menagerie who was a villain?

2 actually, sisters in The Elite and Justice League Elite, Not a lot of good ones left out there. I'm fine with Beast Boy or Changeling but i guess you might use The Bestiary, The Bestial or Wildlife. Though thinking about it Wildlife might work for Gar.
I don't see why Beast Man can't work.
I don't see why Beast Man can't work.
Because the copyright to that name is owned by someone else, in this case...Mattel.

Mattel would want a word with DC.
I would say try Beastie but GLOW wrestling might want a word.
I would go with the Beast, Beast Untitled, Green Beast, King Animal, or King Green.
Beast would be out for the same reasons as Beastman.
Maybe he should be 'Beastie Man'. :P
